 + 12 moreI couldn't be happier with the work product and for me just as importantly was his work ethic and attitude. He truly seems to enjoy himself which makes for a better experience all the way around. His attention to detail - things that I might not even know to notice - is exemplary. And, two things that I really appreciate: (1) He cleans up after himself. Sweeping, vacuuming, etc. It's so I don't know he was there. (2) He remembers all the things I tell him to do. I normally would provide a list, but with Homer I just show him the things I need done and he does them without being told twice. I've had plenty of other workers/contractors in the past. I only wish I'd have known Homer before I hired those other guys. He just makes it a pleasant experience.
Description of Work: I first hired Homer to put in the backsplash my first contractor neglected to install. He not only did a fine job installing the tiling and the border surround, he helped me with design elements so it came out better than I expected. Since I was so satisfied with that project I hired Homer to do various little jobs around the house: adjusting doors that were out of kilter, demoing parts of my garage to make room for storage, removing an old sink, removing rotten wood and reframing those areas, installing drywall and plastering over it and patching the stucco on the outside where holes from the pipes had been. Also, caulking areas around windows which could leak during rain and installing a new threshold where my old one had worn out.
