HINERFELD-WARD INC

HWI (CA Lic. # 781592) with Thomas Benjamin Hinerfeld as RMO/CEO/PRES operated for nearly two months under a suspended license while working on our neighbor's residential build. HWI only rectified their status after we neighbors threatened a complaint about a harrassment issue. A flooring contractor, James "Jimmy" Gonzales, became extremely confrontational when we asked him to take preventative measures against soot and debris on our neighboring property. The antagonistic and confrontational worker's behavior continued and was fully supported by HWI, the General Contractor, and Tim Sullivan, the on site Project Manager. Permits not pulled for dumpsters, un-safe operation of construction equipment (I witnessed a huge piston from a back hoe fall on the operator's arm with no on-site supervision to assist the poor guy!)...the list goes on and on. Thank goodness for Angie's List that allows people other than the property owners to share their stories. The properties owners often move away during a build, as was the case here.

Over charged, not honest, did not hire good sub contractors.
