Unlike some other plumbers that we interviewed, Henrik employs a comprehensive re-piping plan which includes all new valves (emergency shut off valves), new pressure regulator, new sink hose connections and patching of holes. This feature attracted us to Henrik the most. In addition, Henrik insulated all hot water pipes to increase efficiency, a detail not originally included in new house construction. Also, other plumbers estimated that our re-pipe would take 5 – 6 days to complete. Although Henrik’s original estimate was for 1 ½ to 2 ½ days to complete our home, we were lucky to have a whole team of six installers working on our house who installed new piping within just one day! While researching potential plumbers to re-pipe our home, I found Henrik had received high marks and customer satisfaction on several web sites including Angie’s List, Home Advisor and Yelp. A company, such as Henrik, that almost exclusively does nothing but re-piping, both commercial and residential, develops expertise in this plumbing specialty which is reflected in the high quality re-pipe job on our home. The patching crew also did an excellent job with patching. We were impressed with their whole work product. In their customer satisfaction survey form, Henrik’ goal is to exceed their customers’ expectation. We can state unequivocally that Henrik exceeded our expectations. We received very good value for our money! From the beginning of the process, from the estimator’s detailed walk through, to the final phase of patching, Henrik Plumbing acted professional, courteous and helpful. We could not have asked for a better experience. It gives us peace of mind to know we have a "lifetime of the home" guarantee and a 50 year warranty on the thicker copper pipe.

They blew the main gas line on the first day, emergency crew had to come out and fix it. They flooded my house on the second day, told me it was no problem. City inspector did not pass any of their work, I had to hire another company to take over the job.

Henrik came out the day I called for the estimate, and came the next day to perform the work. The price was very competitive, and they came with many recommendations in their portfolio. They were fast and efficient, having the job done in half a day. Sixty feet of all new 1" copper service, connected to the house with two shut offs, one for the main plumbing feed and one for the sprinkler, plus a pressure release and drain. Very nice work, signed off by our City Building inspector. The trench was left open for the building inspector to sign-off the next day. I was able to backfill the trench and put the grass back in place myself, but if I had not been able to do that they would have come back on a second trip to take care of that.

After reading many reviews on this company, my expectations were high. They fully met expectations. The person who came out for the initial estimate brought a folder with all the information he provided verbally. This impressed me, because I was able to review after he left and I didn't have to take notes. They provided all information on licensing, warranties, and insurance in writing. He was friendly, patient, answered all my questions. After I left, I immediately received a call from the owner to get feedback on the experience. The plumbers who did the work were actually early the first day. The foreman immediately walked through the job with me before any work started. They also laid tarps throughout the house and up the stairs to protect carpeting. The work was performed effectively and efficiently. They cleaned up each evening before leaving so there was minimal interruption in access to my water. The job was estimated for two days, they finished the work in two days. The next workday, the team to repair the wallboard showed up and they impressed me even more. They patched every single hole no matter how tight the location. One wall had wallpaper so they stripped the wall paper off the entire wall, textured it and painted. And this team was even more impressive in protecting the floors/carpets and cleaning up before leaving. They may not have been the least expensive, but they were well worth the price. I would recommend them for hire. A few months passed and Henrik's Plumbing still responded in a timely matter on subsequent plumbing requests. While remodeling a tub/shower, the new valve originally installed during the re-piping began to drip. The plumbers hired by the remodel contractors could not find the problem. I called Henrik's and they sent one of their plumbers out the next day. Again very timely and professional. He investigated and quickly found a piece of solder in the valve that apparently was dropped into the valve during the reconstruction of the shower. He cleaned it out and said it was covered by my warranty. He said if I had more problems, just call. About a month later I called to have a drain cut out in another shower being remodeled. The plumber came the same day on his way back from another job and performed the work efficiently and effectively. I am very pleased with this company and have vowed to use them as my only plumbing company from now on. They provide excellent service when re-piping, but also provide excellent general plumbing services as they are required. They earn the fees they charge by providing such great service. They are dependable, responsive and skilled at what they do. Thanks Richard and the team.

The quality of the work appears to be good as far as I can tell.  I selected Henrik's because they impressed me with their knowledge and experience and their references. I was impressed at how quickly they worked.  They brought a 4- or 5-person crew to do the work. It was obvious that their personnel were experienced and competent. They have been in the plumbing and repiping business for more than 2 decades and they do the work in-house (i.e., no subcontracting).  The city inspector seemed impressed that they used stabilizers to guide the piping.  The patching job was high quality - you can barely tell where the patches were made.  Even though they put up plastic sheeting to limit the amount of fugitive dust cross-contamination between work and non-work areas of the house and Henrik's staff performed superficial cleaning, a significant amount of dust and plaster was generated and settled everywhere.  Nevertheless, a thorough dusting, sweeping and vacuuming was needed, and we are still finding dust to clean up 2 weeks after the work was done.  Also, while working under a sink, they bumped the under-drain to cause a leak after the repiping; it had not leaked before.  It took 3 discussions to come to a resolution to split the cost of the repair.

The team was very professional. They started the job on-time at 8:00 and worked through until it was finished at approximately 7:00 p.m. A few days later, the work was inspected by the Alhambra city inspector who said that the work appeared to be done very well. After the inspection, a member of the crew returned to fill in the trench in the lawn and the holes in the ground that were left open for the inspector's review, and also to patch the minor holes in the outside walls which were required due to relocation of the outside faucet. We had obtained 5 estimates for the job, Henrik's Plumbing estimate was the most competitive as well as the most complete. We are very happy with the job and have no hesitation to recommend this company.

It went well. They had to go through the concrete slab, which was a lot of hard work, but it paid off. They also threw in some free labor for me as well. Although, they did throw some concrete chunks to the side of my house in some bushes.

They had to go through the attic because it is on a concrete slab. They were fast and cleaned up well and everything went great.

We couldn't be happier.

It wasn't a huge job, but they did what they needed to do and I was happy.

Henrik Plumbing did an excellent job from my first call to Richard in the office,Willie,the estimator,and the guys themselves that did the job.
This was a major job that was a complete copper repipe including the main from the meter to the house,relocation of a new water heater that I provided and installation of a new utility sink in the garage where none was there before.Richard in the office was very courteous as was Willie the estimator,John and Jerry that actually did the repipe along with two other workers,and both Alberts that did the wall patching were fantastic!.
Not an easy house to crawl under!John and Jerry were true craftsmen.Their work is excellent!

I got a lot of estimates, but decided to go with Henrik based on reviews. Overall, they did a good job. They finished the repiping in one day, which surprised me. They took another day to repatch the walls. They said they were going to come one day to repatch the walls, but didn't tell me they had to reschedule until the last minute. I wasn't too happy I took off a day's work for nothing. However, I can't really blame them if another job ran long. They did a good job patching the walls and patched a few extra holes I had before. Overall, they did a very good job repiping and patching.

From my first phone call to the final inspection, Henricks was prompt, professional and performed high quality work. Henricks only used their own employees for all of the work, they do not use sub-contractors. The first day they showed up on time, and performed high quality work. The job site was always clean and tidy at the end of the day. Their estimate for the time to complete the job was right on, and I could not believe it only took them two days to complete the plumbing. Their dry wall repair crew was also prompt, and did great work. Their customer service, and follow up was outstanding. When they scheduled the inspections, and the work crews, they were very courteous and prompt. Their follow up was on the ball, they always returned phone calls immediately. The property they worked on for me is a rental property and they were very nice and respectful of my tenants as well. I would definitely use them again for any other re-pipe needs.
