Handy Ma'am Handy Woman

This was my second time hiring Handy Ma'am (the first was also great), so I had every confidence that she was going to solve the problem. But I had no idea that I was actually going to LIKE the result. Her idea was to use plexiglass and she used her contacts to get a perfectly cut fit for the window - and cut a hole for the AC hose to snap right in snugly. Also she used carpet tape to adhere the glass and covered it with white electrical tape, so it looks really sharp and clean. And because of the plexiglass, I don't lose any light in the room. I'm so impressed! Because the work was so reasonably priced, I'm contemplating doing another one in the living room since I can easily unsnap the hose and move the unit. I never thought in a million years that that would be even possible. Handy Ma'am is a star and a cool person to boot!

She is excellent. She's very patient, very, very good, and very neat. She's great. We're about to call her back because we need some things around the house. She's only available if I want to talk to her personally on Saturday or I can leave her a message in the voicemail.

Andrea is a wonderful, personable and very professional lady.  When I called to make appointment, she was very upfront with what she can or cannot do, and what she couldn't do, she referred me to the right contacts. She was very generous in sharing her information and was very helpful even before we even met.
When she came to do the various jobs, she was just an absolute delight to work with, efficient and excellent at what she does. Her rates are very reasonable.
I definitely recommend her and will definitely work with her again.

Andrea is a lovely person. I told her up front that I love interior design and that I'm particular. She has accommodated me and always done a great job. I highly recommend her.

A+. Andrea really impressed me with her honesty. I explained the problems I had in a rental unit I own. I needed a leaky toilet fixed and the gauges in my hardwood floors buffed out.
She asked me to text her pictures of each. I did and she said, and quot;I can save you even hiring meand quot;. She then walked me through how to fix the leaky toilet which turns out she told me just needed a $5 piece at Home Depot that I could easily install myself. (Which I did and it fixed the problem).
Then she told me that what I considered was a gauge in the hardwood was actually what she considered a scratch. She told me that it didn't need to be buffed out, that I could just buy a $5 bottle of Old English and rub it in to the scratch with my fingertip. (Which I did and it fixed the problem).
Andrea saved me time, money and effort and I really appreciated her honesty. It was very refreshing.

Problem was the four-panel bi-fold set of doors was not a manufactured, but built in by a contractor. The lumber was too heavy for the track. So it eventually broke, bending the track, breaking the wheel---a mess. But Andrea sized it up, and got to work. She did the job well, the first time, and I will call her again! I recommend her highly.

I had Andrea do various projects around my home. A few of things she did were install a new door between my den and my garage, installed and painted new closet doors in my nursery, install new hardware and latches on hall closer doors. She is very competent and considerate of my time and comfort. She always aimed to quiet (as much as a handywoman can be doing projects such as these) while my baby was napping. She helped a**** the projects, choose materials and picked up the materials. I would use Andrea again.

WOW! That's how it went. She was in and out in less than an hour. Cleaned up everything as though no one had ever been there. The door works great now. And she was extremely nice too. I will certainly call her again!

Andrea Campos is wonderful to work with and highly talented at fixing things, especially wood. I would trust her with our furniture as well as anything exterior. She is too busy, so we had to wait to have her finish the job, but she is highly reliable and UNDER charges for her services. So you can see why she's super busy!

She did a fantastic job and we are going to call her back for future projects.

Andrea is professional, nice, fast and does great work. Her pricing is extremely reasonable. She gives a feeling of confidence, and her work is well done. Can't recommend her highly enough. She is quite popular, and it is becoming difficult to get a time with her:-). Much of her business comes from referrals and returning customers. Andrea cleans up after her work, is kind to my cats and personable but not chatty.

She was great and did a lot of stuff for us. She fixed a ramp for my patio and was very creative about it. She also fixed the gate and installed some lights. She does really good work. I was especially pleased with the prices. She is very reasonable.

Andrea is a total pro. She's a very busy woman, but that's because she's AWESOME! Not only does she get the job done, but she's courteous and pleasant to be around. Even though she was super busy, she was able to accommodate me into her schedule for the things I needed help with. Only the highest praise for this handywoman!

She was very professional and showed up on two different days to make sure the spackle had time to properly dry before painting. Everything looks great and I would absolutely hire her again!

andrea is amazing. she comes on time, she is prepared to do the work (with all of the tools/supplies), she is considerate about cleaning up and she is very smart.
she came to my house, caulked the window first, so it would have time to dry. then she started working on my door. i have had so many people come and repair the door, but it still wouldn't lock. she fixed it. she explained it to me, told me what i could do to fix the problem and is going to fix my doors so i can close both the screen door and the back door at the same time...why, when they installed it, they didn't do that is beyond me. but i feel so lucky to have andrea figuring out and fixing all of the quirks of my 1921 bungalow.
i will never call my other handyman again!

She came to look at the job so she could give an estimate to us. It was probably about a week to two weeks before she could actually begin the work, but it was worth it because we could tell she was professional. Her Volvo SUV was leaking oil and she placed a cardboard piece underneath so as not to stain our driveway--very considerate.
I had purchased many of the items we needed for the closet work (dowels etc) so she didn't really need to go out and purchase any materials. The jobs were all completed over two days. Very reasonable and pleasant person to deal with. Trusted her in our home and didn't feel the need to keep eyes on her while she worked.

Both Andrea and Dave were terrific. Highly professional and very skilled. Andrea was very effective at solving problems and finding appropriate materials for unusual situations. Both were thorough and cared a great deal about getting the job done right. They work long hours and their prices are more than reasonable.
