Simple and pleasant experience. I had to place orders for the tires, which arrived in time for mounting on my car the next day. The experience in the shop was also very prompt- about 20 minutes. The prices for the tires were competitive with the best prices that I could find online.

Great place to get your tires serviced. Super friendly, knowledgeable and honest. These guys stand behind their work and will do whatever they can to earn your business and trust.

Was referred by Costco because they didn't have tires to fit my car.  Talked to Greg on the phone.  He suggested  4 tires, gave a price and also suggested a good time to come in as it is first come first serve.  When I got there several people were already waiting, but I got there fairly close to opening time in the morning.  Greg suggested tires and let me know the price.  He told me the approximate amount of time he thought that it would take.  It was about 50 minutes as I recall.  I decided to walk up the street for a fast food breakfast.  When I came back, my car was ready and waiting. Then I talked to Gregory , who was polite and friendlly .  I paid him by credit card and was on my way.  The tires are working well and I am getting good gas mileage on my old Prius. Last time I got 2 tires from Lincoln Discount Tires and paid a ridiculously high amount.I feel I got very good tires at a reasonable price with great, fast service.  I will definitely go back.

We've been a customer of Globe Tire for over 20 years. Always received great service at fair prices. From my 20 yr. old Honda Accord to my wife's Toyota 4Runner to my old toy sports car they've always had the parts and skilled mechanics to do the job right the first time.

It was a positive experience.

The service was exceptional.  They quoted me a price over the telephone and when I arrived they were courteous, and lived up to my expectation.  The servicemen went out of their way to make me comfortable and answered all my questions satisfactory.  They were very careful and took care of all aspects of the installation.  I was very very happy!

I have bought tires for my vehicles for years at Globe Tire. I stopped by today to have the tires checked. I am driving to Mammoth next week and wanted to make sure the car was ready for snow. They put the car up on the hoist, checked and rotated all the tires for no charge. Handed me back my keys, saying "have a good trip". They know customer service well at this place.

They did good work. They are very knowledgeable and the service is excellent. They do a lot of high end cars but even if your car is not high end, they treat it like it is such. I will definitely use them again.

They do tires and they do them really well; that is why we go there. They don't do a bunch of other stuff; they just do tires. The guy was great. I will definitely use them again.

Have been back to them repeately.  Always have the right tire (and sometimes rim) in stock.  Reasonable price (better than dealer) and very fast and accomodating.

It was fine but had I to wait quite a while. They did a great job. I know they do a lot of tyres for premium cars. They are very knowledgeable and I have used them in the past years. They have always done a good job.

They are great. They had my particular brand tier in stock at a good price. We were able to take it on locking basis. They were very easy to deal with and very friendly.

I had a large screw stuck in one of my tires. David Wallace from Globe Tire offered to fix the tire. When I asked him if I needed new tires (I had been told by the dealership that I did), he said they were fine but probably would need to be replaced with the next 6 months depending on how much driving I did. I decided to have them replaced that day. It took about an hour from start to finish.

I thought that all in the tire service would be about $500 based on the phone call and talking with them, but I didn't get all the details. This did not include alignment, which I assumed was part of installing new tires (as it is at many other places). So, I had to pay about another $80 for this. Anyway, aside from this, the service seemed relatively good and friendly. I have never had Hankook tires before, which they worked hard to sell me. I usually get Michelin, but they swore these were just as good (despite the significant price difference). Regardless, the prices they had on their tires were very competitive. I would probably go back.

Quick, professional, good price. These folks have tires and customer service down to a science. Based on previous reviews I expected the best and that's what I received.

I was very pleased to find that this company had the tire I needed in stock and available. I spoke to them over the phone and once they confirmed they had the tire, I came into the store. The process of changing out the tire was very quick and convenient and I was happy with the service.

I needed to replace a tire and went to Globe because it was on Angie's List and because it's very close to where I live. I also checked them out on the web and the web site didn't give me any information. I called first and spoke w/Gregory and told him I got the referral from Angie's List. I met Gregory at Globe and he asked about Angie's List and he said he'd never heard of it. He looked a 1 tire and then said let's put it on the rack so I can show you why you need to replace more than one tire. Over the last year or so I was told that I needed to replace the tires. The car was on the rack and Gregory showed me what was wrong w/each tire, that the tread was minimal and trouble was in my future and I don't want trouble in my future on the roads of LA. He also noticed that 1 tire was newer than the others and that's because I had to replace it some time ago. This told me that he knew what he was talking about. Since this was the third time I'd heard that I needed new tires, I got new tires. The shop didn't have the brand that was on my car so Gregory gave me something else, that something else was not in inventory even though the computer said so. So, I got a different brand of tires for my car. The work was done quickly and I was treated in a professional manner. Gregory told me that he wasn't out to sell me 4 tires, and would replace what I wanted. I also got a 4 wheel alignment and I didn't buy the extended warranty for the tires. Gregory explained to me why my tires were so worn down w/only 38,000 miles on my 2002 car. It's the heat and I park my car on an uncovered driveway. There was bottled water available, a sitting area w/white plastic chairs where I read their copy of the Wall Street Journal. As the other reviewer wrote, they do need to increase their variety of magazines. The work took less than an hour and my spare was returned to the trunk. I read review about 2 other places and didn't go to them because of their distance from my home. I'm pleased w/the efficiency and professional courtesy that I received. I appreciated that Gregory showed me the problem of each tire. I asked about a discount and I saved about $20.00. The place was very busy and it's first come first served. For a car experience this was pretty easy. It was nice customer service to have bottles of water for the taking. I can bring the car in every 5,000 miles for a complementary tire rotation. With my receipt, I received a vehicle tire report. Globe has lots of wheels on display, and the tires are someplace else. I saw a variety of people come in and out of the shop. Three hours after the job was done I can say so far so good. I'd return if I needed tires. I like that tires are what they do and they're not trying to sell you other services. A positive experience.

This is my favorite company in all of Los Angeles. These guys are completely honest and fair and despite knowing virtually nothing about cars and despite being a woman I have never had them even suggest that I spend more money or do more work - in fact, more often than not, they do something for free or recommend that I not spend the money. I've been going to them for three years and now, even though I live all the way across the city, I can't bring myself to patronize anyone else. In this particular case, my brakes were thumping and making noise, so I brought the car in, fully expecting to be told I needed new brakes. They looked at the car and said that my brakes were absolutely fine - 90% left on the pads - and nothing needed to be done; however, if the noise was bothering me they could try machining the rotors to see if that was the problem. Even better, if it worked, they would charge me; if not, it would be a freebie. I also got two tires, and I love that despite the fact that they cater to performance vehicles, they have no problem selling me cheap tires for my cheesy little Mazda. They do a great job! The brakes are now working fine, my tires are great, and in my three-year history I've never had to take the car back to have them re-fix anything. The people who work there are all great, too, which is a bonus - I actually kind of enjoy hanging out in the waiting area waiting for my car (although they do need some new magazines). They know how to run a good business - everyone is polite, cheerful, prompt, and helpful, and they treat you like a valued customer at all times. I highly recommend Globe to anyone needing anything done on their car - you can count on them.

ALL FOUR TIRES WERE REPLACED WHILE I WAITED IN THE FACILITY AND RECEIVED A MASSAGE ON A COIN OPERATED CHAIR. THEY MADE ME FEEL REAL COMFORTABLE WHILE I WAITED.
