I did a massive spring cleaning when I was convalescing from surgery in February. The most I could do was walk around and point. They were wonderful! My downstairs storage was a catch all for all kinds of stuff (and critters) over the years. It was a horror show. The women were amazing. They weren't daunted nor were they squeamish from all the gross stuff they found. I was embarrassed about the crap that had accumulated over the years. BUT after a few hours - the place was clean - everything was sorted (haul garbage, donation and storage). I even had them sort a few rooms in the house for me. It was a great experience and I would use them again.
Description of Work: I had them clean out my downstairs outside storage room, sell equipment/ items and sort and arrange for hauling.

Organizing takes longer than you think it will. It just does. So having someone help you with the task who is pleasant while being professional is absolutely essential. The owner of Get Organized already is just such a person. She was unflaggingly upbeat, very supportive and 100% reliable. Highly recommended!

We spent about an hour inspecting the spaces in question. As she assessed our needs, Olwin made numerous suggestions for how to approach the project and specific solutions we could consider. She was absolutely professional, and did not pressure us to purchase additional services. We decided to proceed with our organization project on our own, based on the good advice that Olwin gave us. We have finished with the garage, and the home office is ongoing. We may still decide to use Olwin's hands-on organizing. Olwin's advice was sound and well worth the consultation fee. I will call on her again in the future.
Description of Work: Olwin provided a consultation on how to organize our home office and garage in preparation for a home remodeling project.

Very professional, understanding, and efficient (!) First met with lead person, Michelle, who went over everything we wanted/needed to do in great detail, came up with plan. She came everyday with two or three individuals who were necessary for that day's tasks--all of whom were professional, personable, and again--efficient (!) Michelle was also flexible and adaptable to when we needed extra time in between our sessions with them. Were great at helping us quickly make all those packing and organizing decisions that can slow things down. The help with physically packing and moving boxes also saved our backs and energy for all the other things we needed to before the move. And they were invaluable at helping save our sanity during that insane time. The overall cost was a good bit of change--but given the hours and number of people Get Organized provided, and the quality of the work and outcomes, it was worth every penny. We plan to use them again for unpacking when we get back.
Description of Work: Helped us organize and pack all personal items for either storage or to take with us on a year abroad (four family members, incl two kids), to get house ready for renters. Helped us do all this within short timeframe (a week). Helped us keep our sanity!

The work was excellent! There were three women who came to help. They were very industrious. The women were all willing to get into the dirt and haul stuff away. They hauled items away to Goodwill and Habitat for Humanity. It was a good experience and they took a lot off my mind with no longer having a cluttered garage.

We asked Nonnahs to set up "some kind of storage thing" by our back door, which was perennially cluttered, and to do something about the chaotic state of our kitchen. She came by and checked out the space, then must have spent hours coming up with options and sending us links to get our opinion for the storage thing. We finally agreed to a shelving unit with canvas baskets for each of our kids and hooks and trays and files for the mail and such. A couple of months later I can say it has all worked out amazingly well. I had some fairly strong opinions about what I liked and didn't like, and she handled that with equanimity as well. With the kitchen, we took off one weekend day and had her come in while we were away. When we came back, she had reorganized everything in ways I never would have thought of, but that in retrospect were entirely logical, straightforward, and that have withstood the test of time. We had all these drawers and cupboards that had all different kinds of things in them, and now everything's appropriately categorized. For a few days I didn't really know where anything was, but Nonnahs had placed sticky notes on the outside of the drawers and cupboards for use until we adjusted. A very positive experience, and things are way better in the kitchen these days. Nonnahs is extremely pleasant to work with. She's straightforward, sincere, and she comes up with some great ideas. We plan on using her soon to sort out our garage and a few closets that have turned into storage boxes. Looking forward to it.
