He utilized the equipment that I had available and made reccomendations to improve the media in my home . I was on a budget and he worked with me for my phase I projects. I will definitely use him for phase II.

I first contacted George in November 2013.  He was quick to get back to me and to come by to provide an estimate even though it was clear that the work I wanted done was much smaller in scale than his typical projects.  I initially wanted to price out a system with three different zones (kitchen, living room, outside) and a surround sound system for the television.  The estimate was 7,000 including a surround sound system for the television.  This was out of my budget, and beyond my needs, so we scaled it back.  George was very good at figuring out what I needed based on how we listened to music/watched movies and designed a system that gave me everything I need within my budget.  The total cost was 3700, and of that 1500 was for labor.  The rest was for the cost of the system.  I did quite a bit of research looking for better costs, but George came in under anything  I could find including Ebay.
We were also doing a remodel, which was delayed for permits, so work didn't start until February.  George was fine with the delay, and the minute I emailed him that the contractors said he could come in for pre-wire, he had a guy doing the work. 
The construction actually changed our needs for a sound system, so George re-did the plan, and the new estimate was less than the original. 
It was another month before the house was done enough for the speakers to be installed.  Again, George and his team responded to my email immediately and came in to install the actually system.
The only hiccup in the plan was that George had delayed ordering the speakers because he wasn't sure about the timing of the job, so only two of the four indoor speakers were here.  They installed those and the outdoor ones, and also had to move an outlet because the layout of the living room was slightly different and if there wasn't an additional outlet, the wires from the system would be showing.  This cost another 100 bucks for labor. 
George has an incredible attention to detail, not only when it comes to sound but aesthetics.  My new system sounds amazing, and what is visible looks amazing, but most of it is hidden.  Everything can be controlled from our phones, computers, iPads.  It's a miracle.  I had set up my own wireless system using Apple's AirPlay, but it was inconsistent, difficult to move across platforms and devices, and the speakers were hideous.  Sonos is an amazing system, and these particular speakers are beautiful and powerful. 
George is affable, responsive, and very knowledgeable.  He can figure out a system that will fit your needs at a price you can manage.   

George and his team are unbelievably responsive and attentive.  Aside from providing state of the art expertise, they are friendly affordable and helpful.  Whether it is new installation or maintenance George has pride in his work and that comes through.  We both like and trust George and will continue to use him for all of our needs.

Excellent experience. George and his crew were professional and performed what was necessary to connect me to a system (speakers mostly) installed by previous owner of my house. I have no complaints only praise, and my biggest regret is that I don't have more for them to do. Definitely took longer than originally predicted, but my cost did not go over the original estimate. I give them my highest rating!

George AV is a fantastic company!  We opened a private indoor cycling studio this year, TheSweatShoppe.com, and if you've ever been to an indoor cycling studio, you understand and how importan the sound system is to the overall experience.  Initially, we hired a well known company who came recommended to us through past business associates.  Long and short of it, we opened and within a month we were experience major problems!  Mic system shorting out, blown speakers, stereo malfunctions--in effect, this well known company charged us top dollar and did the absolute worst job!!Lucky for us, George AV to the rescue!  George and his team came in quickly to assess the system and they let us know what we could salvage and what we should replace.  We only had to cancel classes for one day, and 24 hours later, we were up and running with a boomin' system that sounded stellar inside the cycling room.  His team was willing to work late into the evening to make sure we would miss as few classes as possible.But their assistance/expertise did not end there.  We continued to have sound quality issues in the room.  George AV continued to work with us over a period of weeks to figure out the most efficient/cost effective solution to create superior sound quality.  We could not be happier with their service and expertise!We highly recommend their services!!

I called three vendors off Angie's list, and these guys were by far the fastest to respond, and the most able to get to my place quickly in the hectic window between new years and super bowl. They heard what I needed over the phone, set up an appointment to view what I needed, and were able to complete all the work in that one day in a few hours. George came with Chris, as he wanted to pitch the ipad universal home remote application that is now the focus of their business. They explained that, it didn't seem like a good fit for my simple needs and that was fine. Then Chris set about taking care of everything, just as I had described my needs, and even updating my remotes so they did talk to each other best they could. I feel they gave me the fullest potential from the components I have in place and were well worth the money. I got a vibe from both Chris and George that I can call them whenever I have questions or need to upgrade or change elements. And I will. I hIghly recommend them.

They were very prompt, they gave me an estimate right away, they were very professional and everything about them was perfect. The service call was $80 and then they had to buy some parts. I would definitely use them again.

The guys were great - did a wonderful job and always a phone call/text away for any questions or concerns. they kept the original quote even though they had made an error and charged me for a wrong reciever. the new reciever i needed cost more but because it was their error in the estimate - they did not charge me the extra cost of the receiver. Honest guys, definitely recommend them.

Job went great, took about 2.5 hours including the shelving, and there's no question I'd work with them again.

George is very professional. He sent bids when he said he would and always followed up with emails or phone calls. Once we agreed on the work to be completed, he and his team showed up on time and were very thoughtful in respecting our time and our space. They made sure that all of our questions were answered and all of our concerns were addressed. He and his team made sure we fully understood everything he had done and all of the charges that applied. I think he may have even thrown in a few little extras just to be nice. I have remodeled several homes and delat with MANY vendors. George is certainly one of the best I have worked with.

How did it go overall? Excellent! Many times we are passed over by contractors for jobs, because jobs for our house appear rather small. We recently met one contractor who generally works with high end clients, but, had no problem working with us. Here is our experience with George. George installed our new small home sound system that we purchased one year earlier. We planned on installing it ourselves! After a year with wires and small speakers hanging around we decided to look for a professional. We were introduced to George through a friend. When we called George to inquire about his services, George was prompt to return our call. A rep did not call us, George did. This was a good start. We made an appointment to meet with George between Christmas and New Years, not a great time to schedule work! George did not hesitate to fit us in his schedule. George called to confirm our meeting and showed up when he said he would. Again, George met with us, not a rep. This was impressive. George listened to what we wanted and together we drew up a plan and a schedule to begin the work that we were happy with. Thankfully, he pointed out important factors involved with installing the system that otherwise we wouldn't have known about. This saved us problems, time and money. We had to make some unforeseen changes to complete our project. It was clear during this period that George knew his stuff, because he was able to navigate through these unforeseen problems and help find solutions that met our goals. George was there with us the entire time, with a positive, professional attitude. George made sure to always focus on what we wanted, rather than what was easier for him. He never seemed frustrated and upset with us. He worked closely with our contractor who installed moulding - the moulding and speakers were in close proximity and therefore needed careful installation for an overall professional look. Not only did he show up when he said he would, he was there during the entire process, he knew what he was doing, offered technical help when problems arose and he called to follow up to make sure everything was in order and working properly. This is a rare experience when working with contractors. In the end, no more annoying wires hanging around to trip on, no more huge ugly 70's style speakers, thank God. Now, a beautiful system with excellent sound, but a system that you don't know exists in our small home. I am sure we would have paid double for another company to provide the same service. George's skill set, patience, tolerance and ability to work with us in spite of our changes was priceless. Without hesitation we recommend George to anyone looking for a professional to install sound and theater systems.

these guys were very professional. they knew there stuff and were clean and social as well. there was nothing they could not do and i am going to have them back to do more work in a few weeks. they even helped carry a very heavy old tv up stairs and out to a truck.

George came to our home in order to assess our sound system which contains approximately 7 sets of speakers throughout the inside and outside of our home. The quality of the sound was inferior and while we did not want to replace the entire system, we wanted to do whatever was necessary in order to get the quality of sound that we would enjoy. George returned several weeks ago to take a look at our sound system and, after his online research and personal contacts, found a product that served our purposes and kept the price down. Rather than being talked into new speakers and a souped up receiver, George determined that if we purchased an additional component and he re-wired the speakrs such that they worked directly in concert with the new component, our speaker quality would be more than satisfactory. Bingo! Everything went according to schedule and price and we are thrilled with his work, once again. George is amazing. This is not the first time we have worked with him. Years ago he installed a few flat screen televisions and worked with our contractor in an effort to coordinate his job with theirs. It was flawless!

Everything came out amazing. While the work was going on everything was kept very clean and professional. Offers great after sale service, usually always reachable either by phone or email. Will certainly keep use him again in the future and strongly recommend using him when it comes to Audio and Video Jobs.

ive used many companies and individuals who claim to do this and do that only to be ripped off, but george never let me down and his workmanship speaks for itself. from the moment he arrived to bid the job, i felt safe. he didnt try to sell me anything, he just guided me honestly. his guys were all pro, and respectful. top drawer. highly recommend for large and small jobs. you dont find this kind of guy often.
