Genesis Stoneworks

Genesis has done numerous projects for me and does excellent work. Its owner Roger, is real stand-up guy. I’ve referred them to many of my friends who have been thoroughly satisfied. They’ve also done some beautiful commercial projects for a contractor friend of mine.

We are very satisfied with the work done on our driveway. Even though it was a small project, it was treated like a priority. The process was quick and easy, communication was great, and the final result looks fantastic. They also came in well under the other bids we received. Highly recommend!

Beautiful work, pleasant to work with, timely efficient, excellent value for the price. Had two very minor problems which they fixed expertly right away. I would recommend them to anyone and plan to hire them for the next job.

There are two major things to consider when using a service. The quality of the work done, and the professionalism of the workers. While our yard has become a lot nicer looking, the ordeals we faced working with Genesis Stonework makes us strongly advise you not to work with them. The problem we faced was the complete lack of professionalism of our contractor Randy. To start off, he never properly coordinated with the workers. They were supposed to finish our yard within 2-3 weeks, but in the end it took much longer. This was due to Randy not getting enough materials for our yard, so we had to wait a week for the materials to finally arrive. On top of this, when we tried to reach out to Randy about the project, he lashed out in a harsh manner telling us “I don't have the authority to tell you when your materials are showing up.” After this, he never bothered to show up at the site, not even when it was finally finished. We would not recommend Genesis Stonework, but if you can deal with a lack of professionalism and getting your work delayed due to an error made by the contractors, then be our guest.

These guys are ninjas. I have over 10,000 square feet of driveway and parking. They managed to complete the job in 5 days! It is beautiful. I happily recommend them.

We had several bids for installing interlocking pavers to replace cracked concrete at our home. Daniel Gradin, a designer with the company, estimated the job and did detailed drawings with measurements to insure we were happy with the plan and kept in touch during the project. He helped us design and implement a very complicated pool deck with coping, as well as side patios and a front driveway that wraps around a fountain. They also built us a large shade structure on the site. It was a pleasure to work with Stoneworks and their sub contractors who followed through efficiently and kindly, and did a beautiful job. High marks!

We had our cracked concrete driveway replaced with pavers. Had a few bids and chose Genesis because they could do the job earlier. We were very pleased with the result. The crew were very good, friendly and professional, the standard of work is great. Placement of pavers and random pattern is excellent. They left the job site very clean. The only reason for 4 instead of 5 stars was the start date. We scheduled the job 7 weeks out and were delayed twice. Even so, I highly recommend this company.

OUTSTANDING! When we decided to replace our tumbled brick driveway with stone pavers, we solicited bids from four contractors. We met with Daniel Gradin of Genesis. We found Daniel responsive, knowledgeable of his product, a creative and thoughtful designer, and a decent individual. Subject to pricing, we had made our decision that we wanted to go with Genesis. So, we were delighted when the bid from Genesis was the most attractive in terms of pricing and timing. Upon giving Genesis the green light to proceed, everything progressed on time, as promised and without any issues. We have worked with many contractors over the years and found the team from Genesis to be top-notch. Daniel (Senior Designer), Frank (Customer Service) and Emmanuel (Project Foreman) were all fantastic. Emmanuel and his crew were hard workers, prompt and took tremendous pride in their work. The jobsite was clean and organized at the end of each day of work. The driveway looks absolutely fantastic. We are extremely satisfied with our experience working with Genesis and would highly recommend them for a driveway project.
