My taste is retro and I needed someone, not to remodel or reface, but rather restore my mid-century modern kitchen to its former glory. Fuentes General Contracting provided a reasonable estimate for what I knew would be a labor-intensive project. They sanded down and refinished the existing cupboards, replaced all the old hardware, and added a whole new cupboard unit with tiled countertop perfectly matching the existing built-ins. Some existing cabinets were reconfigured to be more useable, sliding insets were added for easier accessibility, and sheet formica surfacing was installed on all the inner shelves. Luis and his crew were prompt, professional, and considerate. They worked efficiently and left the area clean and orderly at the end of the day. The job was finished in good time; the completed product of high quality and to my specifications. I am very pleased to recommend Fuentes General Contracting and will be using them again myself in the future.

Luis was great. He came over and quoted me for the work on my large balcony. He then returned to perform the work on our agreed upon day and time. He did a great job and cleaned up everything when he was finished. I would absolutely use his services again.

I have used them on several occasions and been very happy with the work and cost. I plan to call them first in the future when I have need of handyman services.

Luis gave me a fair estimate on Friday and returned on the following Monday on time, installed missing floor tiles and a towel bar in my bathroom. His work was excellent and he finished the job an hour earlier than anticipated. I will definitely be using him again and highly recommend him.

I cannot say enough about how pleased I was to find Fuentes General Construction. Luis and his team are honest, considerate of budget restraints, professional, and do what they say. My aunt is a hoarder. She fell and was hospitalized. The city where she lives was ready to condemn her house. I called three contractors for estimates. One was very high, one didn't respond, and Luis responded on short notice. Every surface of the inside of the house needed to be renovated. Luis and his team started when they committed to start. As with all renovation jobs you never know the real scope of work until you start the work. Every time Luis found something he showed it to me and got my approval before proceeding. He never exaggerated the scope of additional work. His team even worked weekends and holidays to finish the job on time. I plan to recommend and use Luis again.

Luis Nieto was a true professional. He installed my dishwasher and hauled away my old dishwasher, replaced the ceiling tiles in my hallway and fixed my outdoor screen. I plan to use him again on other projects.
