About us

I am a sole practitioner and can help with routine pet care (vaccines, minor illnesses such as ear and skin problems,) chronic conditions, well pet exams. I also perform hospice type care and in home euthanasia. I do not think acute critical care is appropriate at home, so do not offer emergency services for acutely very ill animals who require urgent medical care. those should be taken to a hospital where they can be appropriately taken care of.

She is the Best! and will be truly missed because, regretfully, she is no longer in Los Angeles, CA and moved to New Orleans.  Anyone located there would be lucky to have her take care of your beloved pets.

Dr. Friedman came to our home to euthanize our dog Kona...she was very gentle, sensitive...sat on the floor in the living room with us...gave Kona a sedative first, then the lethal dose...This procedure was of course emotionally difficult, but so much better for our beloved dog and for us...

Dr. Friedman arrived fiully prepared for just about any medical emergency. She was extremely sensitive and gentle with Charlie who immediately knew that he was in good hands during her thorough examination of him. She was also patient and open to my prefernces for "alterhnaive" medical treatments, but easily explained to me the benefits of treating Chatrlie with antibiotics based on his current condition. I would give Dr. Friedman an unqualified 5 star rating for her excellent care. Considering how much less stressful it is for a pet to be able to be treated at his her own home the service that she provides beomes an extraordincarily good value. I would not hestitate to call Dr. Friedman again and I would highly recommend her to anyone needing treatment for any medical condition for a beloved pet..
