The work done by Flying Canter Brothers was good, however, the time it took was stunningly long....2 years and 3 months from writing the first check to the last check! When we first met with Markus and Stuart, we were told the job would take 4 months. We knew to at least double that, but who could have predicted that we should have really multiplied that estimate by SEVEN! All work performed is done very well, and under the watchful eye of Stuart, but the glacial pace of the work removes any of the joy of its completion. By the time something is completed, long gone are the warm fuzzy feelings of its pending completion. Replaced by aggravations with the slowness of progress, and the costs. Generally, the costs were in line with estimates, but the job's cost was grossly under estimated from the beginning. To get the job in line with budget, they simply removed items from the construction list....like flooring, light switches and fixtures...stuff they figured was optional! OI!
Description of Work: Remodel of an existing 1978 home. Remodel consisted of six of nine rooms including the kitchen and powder room.
