Fitness Blowout: Fitness Equipment Los Angeles

The equipment was left at my home in a non-functioning state. They would not replace the equipment even though it was broken. They would not bring back my old equipment while it was being repaired. They did not send anyone to fix it. They just told me to go to the manufacturer. It took two months to get the piece of equipment back and it was still not working properly.
people need to be aware that on their website they have bold print guarantees. The y do not follow those warranties. They have a lot of small print about the warranties and refunds. I even had to contact a lawyer about the situation. They do not honor the 100 percent satisfaction guarantee. They have a lot of loopholes that they dont go over with you when you buy the piece of equipment. They just allow you to believe if you have a problem, you will get your money back. Even though they knew that I bought the treadmill for my health, they still did not care about it.

It arrived in good condition.  But within the first month, the resistance was so difficult, I couldn't operate it.  It started squeaking and we just couldn't use it.  They sent a technician out to fix it, which he tried to do twice.  On the way out, he said there was nothing he could do, that we needed to get our money back because we got a bad machine.  He called back later, said that we actually needed a part and that he would order it.  Then we didn't hear from him.  So, we called and he said that there was nothing wrong, that it was our problem.  We wanted to return it per our guarantee, but they were going to charge us $1500 to send back, plus 20% restocking fee.  It would come to $3400 total to return .  Also, we ordered it in November but didn't get it till January, only after I threatened to cancel the order.  At this point, we have filed with BBB and the attorney general with the state of California.  We have two complaints that we're working with now.  We are going next to the Chamber of Commerce.  This machine was actually prescribed for me by my neurologist to help with my Parkinson's, and it's now been 10 months and I haven't been able to use it.
