"We did several jobs for this customer, this particular one was only $3,600 (not $5,000). All the work that we did was agreed to in advance in writing, prior to the start of work. We ended up saving her thousands of dollars because we gave a bid for the job that was much less than others she had obtained. The issue of permits was never discussed, due to the urgent matter of leaking gas lines. Had she contacted us directly with her complaints, we would have been able to address her concerns, however, this posting on Angie's List was the first we ever heard of her concerns.
