This was a most disappointing experience. This provider was reccommended by the dealership we leased our Nissan Leaf from. My wife thought that because installation of EV chargers was their sole business, that we should have less problems with the process. This turned out not to be the case. Other than making phone calls from their office, they hire outside contractors to do all the actual work, The installation should have taken a total of two to three weeks from the point at which we'd hired them; it actually took just a little over 3 months before we had a functioning charger system. I can't recall all the delays and hassles but briefly, the electrical contractor hired by them failed to show up for appointed work, then showed up without all the parts needed, then extended breaks before showing up with the proper parts, then leaving mandatory labeling off of the meter box, whic delays the DWP approval process. These were the mistakes made by the contractor EV connect hired, but through all of this, the EV connect coordinators were rarely if ever on top of following up iwth the contractor or the building & safety inspectors or the DWP to monitor the progress of this job. We would have been better off, and saved a few hundred dollars if we'd hired our own contractor and did our own paperwork. I write this review to save anyone else the miserable and overpriced experience we had.
Description of Work: The provider was hired to coordinate the purchase, permitting and installation of a 240V charging station for an electric vehicle.
