ESSENTIAL FURNITURE

I had been looking for nearly two years to find a cabinet to hold my flat panel television that would fit in to my 1930s art deco decor. I found Ken on Angie's List. He had several positive reports and his shop is close to my home. I took Ken two photographs of antique art deco book cases that I thought could be adapted to accommodate a panel television. He sketched out the design and took down rough dimensions. Before beginning the actual work, he contacted me to review the dimensions to be absolutely certain my television would fit the finished piece. I picked up the finished cabinet yesterday. It exceeded my expectations. Ken followed the details in the photographs precisely, and the resulting cabinet looks like an authentic piece from the 1930s.

It was not easy to make the alteration but Ken persevered and despite a few difficulties, the job was finished to our satisfaction. Ken always had a good attitide and we were impressed that he stuck with it until everything was right.

They were very professional. He has been doing his job for about ten years. He did what I wanted. I would use him again. He is close by me and I would recommend.

The man was very knowledgeable and suggested I look for something on their floor since custom made would be expensive. I found a chair exactly like I wanted and am very happy with it. He was very helpful even helping me load it into the car.
