Worst experience with a vendor of my life. I am sure they will dispute what I am about to say since they have NEVER taken full responsibility for what happened with me until I had to involve Amex to try and get money back (which never worked out) so I will stick with the facts. They eventually offered me a token refund which I never accepted since I was trying to work with Amex first, but in the end it ended up they way it was quoted. Lesson learned - don't pay until you are happy! Here is how it went: The Ceaserstone was delayed by about a month which they blamed Ceaserstone for but when I checked with Ceaserstone they new in their computer that they material was back ordered for quite some time so either way I should have been told a better estimate. I placed my order 2/23 and I did not find out about the problem until May. They always blamed Ceaserstone and never took responsibility for this or the following problems. When the counter was cut and was being installed, they cut the faucet holes in the wrong place which did not allow the faucet to work and the one counter was cut wrong which caused a 1/2 space visible on the dining room side which had to be plugged. They plugged the faucet holes and redrilled them which luckily worked but not a quality job. They forgot to bring their caulking gun on the day and had to borrow mine and they also forgot enough caulk and had to come back to finish that. Although the holes did work out in the end I ended up with 'repaired' counters and not 'new' in my mind. They also missed a big white flaw in the counter material. Now, there will be small flaws in Ceaserstone since it is man made, BUT they are required by Ceaserstone to inspect it before cutting to avoid any large flaws. They repeatedly said that they do not inspect for flaws and that it is a warranty issue with Ceaserstone, so I had to get a tech out twice to try and fix the flaw and again although it worked out Ok. I have a 'repaired' counter at a premium price. Another problem was with the stainless steel tile. Some of the Italian built tile were built in a different brush pattern to the rest which caused them to reflect light differently. Now, I would not expect a vendor to catch this and they did agree to 'rebuild' the one remaining tile I had but the problem was that it was already on the wall and I had to cut it off and reglue it up in a different pattern thus fixing the pattern myself; they never offered to hire a tile guy to help me. The flooring was OK, but it was of two different darknesses and I know that natural stone will have variations but this was dramatically different. I dealt with it by hiding the dark ones under the counters. Whew! Overall, they were professional in the beginning of the customer relationship but when things went bad, they became snooty and blamed Ceaserstone and stood behind their 'repair' jobs, and only after trying to get money back did they even show remorse. DON'T USE THEM!!!!

The quality of the Travertine was pretty good and reasonably priced. However, the installers were not that skilled and their work shows. After three months all of the tub corner grout lines are severly cracked and need to be repaired, this time by a professional. The installer also ran a very visible row of tile that resulted in a grout line of almost 1/4'' (everything else was 1/16''). They're fairly inexpensive and you get what you pay for.

THEY MADE IT PRETTY EASY. IT WAS A PLEASURABLE EXPERIENCE. WE DIDN'T KNOW MUCH ABOUT IT, BUT THEY WERE KNOWLEDGEABLE. THEY WENT THROUGH AND SHOWED AND EXPLAINED THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE STONES AND THE FUNCTIONS BETWEEN ONE AND ANOTHER WHEN LOOKING AT THE SAMPLES. THE WORK WAS REALLY GOOD WORK. THE FINAL PRODUCT WAS DONE, AND EVERYTHING LOOKED PERFECT.
