rating is for service in the store and for supplies.
i've used a variety of pool supply stores - home depot, olympic pool (odd experience at first, then they got better), leslies pool supply, and then this place because it is closest to me. i actually had no idea it existed until a handyman mentioned it to me. it's close to the trader joes on santa monica near la brea.
anyway have bought a plethroa of supplies here. it is a reliable place with friendly knowledgeable service. i don't want or need to spend an enormous amount of time getting pool supplies, so i like that they know what they're talking about, they are eager to help and are knowledgeable.
last time i went in here, i needed to get a hose coupler / reducer. i accidentally left a part there, only realized it 3 days later when i needed it for the pool. honestly, i could have left it anywhere but i retraced my actions and realized i must have lost/left it in here. well a quick call to the store, i reminded the guy i was in there a few days ago getting the reducer and he said, "yes... and you left a part on the counter we still have it!" kudos and thank for that. but see that's what i mean about nice decent service. you think that would have happened in home depot? i think not!
