Often referred to as the "Dr. Phil of Design," Dion has made his mark in the industry, employing his stern philosophy of creating spaces that are distinctly reflective of the personality and lifestyle of the client, at times abandoning the basic rules and confines of any specific design theme or motif. Asserting that his clients are multi-faceted and multi-dimensional, Dion’s eclectic and personalized approach to design has proven to be liberating and unimposing. Whether a turn-key, remodel or decorating project, DMD is partnered with the client, from the conception to completion/installation. Also garnering the attention of numerous real estate professionals, Dion is also engaged to consult with esteemed custom home builders or to independently transform the interiors and exteriors of hundreds of multi-family residential units and buildings throughout Southern California from passé to “marketplace contemporary.” Even the corporate executive “comes a callin’,” in search of Dion’s trademark comfort and warmth to fill an otherwise cold and austere office suite. As it is customary to the design trade, Dion Mial Design, Inc. provides a full scope, budgeting, comprehensive design services including space planning, design development, estimating, implementation and installation. We are also consultants for landscape and exterior architecture design, lighting design flooring, programming, project management furniture and color specifications, schematic design, staging, wall coverings, working very closely with architects and general contractors.
