Mark was extremely responsive, which I appreciated because I live out of state and could not be there to oversee the project. He sent me progress photos regularly, and tried to minimize the disturbance to our tenants as much as possible. The project was done on schedule and within the quoted budget. It was also beautifully done and the tile floors look fantastic. We will definitely use Diligent again in the future.

Their attention to detail is great and you can count on them to truly care about the work they do. They've always come well prepared, have been clear with what options there where and been well mannered throughout the whole process.

Dmitri and Mark, Diligent Construction, were fabulous. It was an exceptional experience working with these two gentlemen. The major renovation of our master bathroom was completed on time and within budget. As this was our first home renovation project we had many questions during construction and both Dmitri and Mark were always available to respond to our questions. They are certainly highly skilled in their profession and were such pleasant people to work with. It went really well. As a first time home buyer I didn't know a lot and they worked with me and were always fair and helpful. Their honesty and integrity were the utmost and they are conscientious and pay attention to detail and go above and beyond. I bought IKEA kitchen and was in over my head. They helped sort out the mess I had purchased and created the sweetest kitchen Thai just love. They really take an interest in their clients. Every aspect of the project was run by me for approval. I had Diligent Construction do a small partial bathroom remodel for me which included removing the existing fiberglass tub/surround unit and replacing it with a cast iron tub and installing a travertine tile surround. This also involved replacing the existing bathtub faucet and shower head, tub drain and the interior plumbing parts associated with it. They estimated 5 days for the remodel but gave me a caveat that it could take a little longer by a day or two. It did end up taking 5 days. I purchased most of the items before hand and had it at my place for them when they got there. I did ask them to pick up the bathtub from the supplier because I wasn't able to transport that myself in my Prius. Everything went very well. When they had questions about issues as they were doing they work (how high do you want the shower head - same height or higher?), (where do you want the travertine tile border to end - where the tub starts or do you want it extended out further?) Mark texted or called me to discuss. There were no surprises. Their work was professional, excellent and they were great to work with. I was a little concerned initially because I planned to be out of town almost the entire time they were doing the job. Since I didn't know them from prior experience and I gave them the keys to my home I was of course a little wary about having perfect strangers in my home with the keys when I wasn't there. But I checked references beforehand who assured me that they were more than honest - which I can assure any potential homeowners that they are. I don't think they even stepped foot into the other rooms when I was gone. Another nice thing about working with them - they speak English. Your estimate will be in writing. They're professional and courteous in all aspects of their business. Their prices are fair and there are no surprises. You can give them the keys and be gone from your home when they do the work and not worry about a thing. Any questions they have while doing the job for any issues that come up will be communicated to you promptly and the work itself will be excellent. I highly recommend Diligent Construction to anyone.

I could not have asked for a more professional experience. Pricing was fair, clear and was maintained without incident or fluctuation. I alway knew where I stood and where we were going. As a partial design/build approach, both partners had a keen sense of design, thorough detail and excellent execution. Excellent communication. I had such a complete comfort level to the extent that I was able to leave town unexpectedly for three weeks knowing I was completely taken care of and the project maintained a perfect on-schedule course. I was in constant contact with the two partners and had no surprises upon my return. I have since recommended Diligent to several prospects through my professional industry. I am an Interior Architect and Interior Designer with an international practice in Hotel and Residential projects for the last 32 years. Everything looks great. Always made house as live-able as possible while under construction. I had a hard time picking tile and they provided some options which I liked and ended up using. Always concerned that i liked and approved of the work being done.
