If you’re looking for a house painter and you want it done right using quality paint— hire Jade Devitt. The communication was prompt and the team took their time to properly sand, patch and prep the house. Yes, others can do it cheaper and faster — I know because I used that painter before and I am now paying the price to repaint. Jade suggested using a darker shade of paint and I Love it!

The painters were careful and clean and took special care to protect our new wood floors. They did a beautiful job. They came on time, worked steadily and cleaned up well when they were done. I would definitely hire them again.

"Removal of popcorn ceilings can be a laborious process to remove and often requires some sort of skim coating to make walls paintable. It was a pleasure to work with Erica and we were pleased to deliver a quality finish."

Jade and his team were on time, easy to work with and did a great job. My walls had several large spots where the old paint was peeling off and needed some serious patching. I was somewhat concerned about how good the end result would come out, but didn't want to strip and repaint the entire wall. Devitt painting was able to smooth it all out and make it look good as new. I will definitely hire again.

Jade is a professional from start to finish, from his communications, to the contract, to the attention to detail, to the commitment to following EPA Lead-Certified standards. His team worked quickly and beautifully. We had another tradesman working to strip a roomful of wainscotting who had radically underestimated his time for the work, and Jade's team both respectfully worked around him and made up time when that guy went long so we could get back into our house. We wish we'd had Jade do the stripping work, as we know it would have exceeded our high standards.
We were relieved that Jade's workers actually follow all of the rules regarding lead removal, since our house is so old and we have a toddler. He keeps his certification current and it's clear that he understands the importance of this additional series of tasks now required in his industry.
We like working with Jade, and will hire him to paint our home's decrepit exterior, since we know that with his guys, you just don't have to worry. It will be done right, professionally, and on time, and he will communicate with you fully during the process. I'd give him an A+ here if I could.

Jade and his crew are real professionals. They did an exceptional job of patching and repairing the stucco and all the wood trim. They also did a great job reglazing a handful of windows in two french doors. They know all kinds of little tricks to make problem areas virtually invisible once the top coats of paint have been applied. Jade and his crew do things the "right" way, even if it takes a bit longer. Jade was always available to discuss any questions or concerns I had during the course of the job. The crew arrived on time every day and cleaned up their work area before they left in the evening. This was one of the few times I had work performed on my house where I just didn't have to worry. I was extremely satisfied with the final product.

Jade delivered a quick estimate and was able to schedule the project in the desired timeframe. His team was here early every morning and paid great attention to detail. The week they were working was very hot, and they had to be outside and in the sun all day. They followed through and did an extremely professional job, despite the heat. Jade checked in periodically and made sure the quality was up to his standard. The whole project went very well.

the job went very well. there were no real problems, work was timely and of high quality, which is as good as it gets w/ the trades. the quality of the work is top notch, and the price was fair. i took several bids and they were not the lowest, but that's not the only criteria in hiring a trade. if a contractor is going to maintain a license, worker's comp. ins, etc., and use quality products, they inherently can't be cheap. i'm pretty critical as i painted myself in my youth, and have no time for amateur painting. windows and shutters are also very tricky jobs, that i would not attempt on my own at this point -- a special sprayer is needed for shutters, etc. they did everything correctly.

Best painting experience I've ever had. Jade and his assistants, Chui and Jose, are very skilled and are meticulous about getting everything just right. They arrive on time and get right to work. Jade is very knowledgeable -- for instance, he suggested using eggshell instead of flat for my kitchen ceiling (pomegranate) and it made an already gorgeous color even more stunning. All three of them are great to work with and are very patient. I plan to paint my upstairs next year and if they're not available when I'm ready, I'll wait until they are. I can't recommend them enough.

The job was done in a timely fashion. The work was excellent. A worker started the job. The owner completed it. The work, as always, was excellent. Both Jade Devitt and the people who work for him show a great deal of respect for our home. This is not the first time we've used the company. I have used Devitt Painting several times before and will undoubtedly continue to use them again. I was initially unable to contact Jade about this job, having lost his number. So, I contacted another painter. His estimate was several thousand dollars for the same work. He came highly recommended, but his quote was way out of line. I finally called the paint store that originally gave me Jade's number years ago and got it again. And thank goodness I did. He's a gem.
