Del Rey Paving exhibits predatory sales practices, failure to deliver on promises, inadequate design, errors in construction, failure to abide by warrantees, seeking funds out of contract in order to maintain ?good faith? relationship, unresponsiveness, and poor service. After a very high-pressure sales pitch (disguised as a design meeting) with all the accoutrements (fancy PowerPoint demonstration, a copy of their impressive surety bond, commitments that they will stand behind us, and a discount that magically expired the same day) and a commitment that the 25-year warrantee covers everything but seismic and trees, Del Rey Paving completed our $72k backyard paver project in September 2023. Over the next few weeks, the pavers began to separate, sag, and crown. Also, the drainage in many areas was toward the house, not away from it. They did come back a couple of times to remove pavers, recompact, and reset.

We love our new driveway!!! It completely transformed the look of our property. Del Rey Paving team are very professional and helpful. They maintained communication throughout the waiting process, and the work was done sooner and faster than we expected. We will definitely use them again when it's time to seal the driveway. they knocked it out of the park, prompt professional and did a great job. Had an issue that they didn't cause with the pickle ball net and they are coming back to assist. They did a complete overhaul of the area and filled in bad areas, 2 sealer coats and painted a perfect pickle ball court. We are going to use them to do the other parking area when it needs it. Polite and professional.

I needed my driveway repaired and resurfaced. Prior to contacting Del Rey, a paving contractor told me the drive had to be completely torn up, re-graded, rock foundation installed, over which two layers of asphalt would be laid. Needless to say, the estimated cost was far more than I could afford. When I contacted Del Rey, Billy he said there was no problem in resurfacing the existing drive and within a week, the job was done at a reasonable price. The only problem was that the morning they started working, the truck delivering the asphalt broke down on the freeway. Instead of postponing the job, Billy got another delivery and then kept his crew working almost until the evening to get the job done as promised.

Billy came out to my place, gave me a comprehensive estimate for what would actually fix my asphalt driveway, and then was very easy to communicate with about setting up the work. Perhaps most importantly, they actually showed up when they were supposed to! And the work is a massive improvement over our previously cracked, potholed driveway, and they cleaned up everything also. Very happy with our choice, price was very fair as well.

I called Billy on a Sunday and to my wonderful surprised he called me back the same day and said that he would be over tomorrow on Monday at 830AM. He showed up 30 minutes early ready to get to work which was amazing! His price was very fair. Billy and his crew are super nice and they did a wonderufl job! I HIGHLY recommend them. I hired Del Rey Paving company 7 years ago and they did an amazing job paving our parking lots in a 27 units Condo n Santa Monica. I hired them after 7 years to patch and reseal the lot and they did amazing job again. I can not brag enough about this company. Billy Baragas is the owner and he is a very professional and grate person to work with.

The work they did was very good, but what I have got disappointed with them is that they never gave me the quote which they are supposed to give me for another project. I called his cell phone many times , but he hung up the phone. At least they should tell me the reason why they cannot give me a quote. Very disappointed!!!

Billy, from Del Rey Paving, resurfaced our school playground nearly 2 months ago. He agreed that he would re-stripe the areas that were covered up by the new asphalt, however, after repeated calls and empty promises, he still has not finished the job. I was truly hoping I could give his company a good review, but, unfortunately since he was paid in full, he has no desire to complete the work. Buyer beware!

I interviewed several companies to take out my old asphalt driveway and install a new one. There were a lot of grading issues - the driveway is steep and i always hit the undercarriage of my car. Billy came several times, gave a quote, and studied the grade so when they came to do the work, they got it done in a day. Other companies quoted me much more and said the grading couldn't be done to my satisfaction. The team was professional and did a great clean up job too. I would recommend Del Rey to anyone looking for a professional paving job at a very reasonable cost. Great value for the money.

I had a basketball court at UCLA Fraternity House re-surfaced and Billy did a great job and communicated with me through out the whole process. His crew were fast and efficient and cleaned up well. Overall a great value and competitive price. Thank you Billy!
