Tracy went through my filing cabinet and all the piles of work papers of various categories I had stacked on my desk.
She was fun and gently kept me going through the papers to purge all I could. She was helpful on what I needed to keep
or toss. She helped me choose categories for files and made labels for all my files and file folders. It looks and feels great!
I have ADD so it's hard for me not to have all my papers and to-do items in front of me because I become anxious that I'll forget them. She helped me understand that with ADD the main key for me is to see a project/item through to completion before getting distracted and jumping to the next one. She showed me a sytem I could use to clear the piles of papers off my desktop and also feel secure that I wouldn't lose track of them. This has already helped me get some of those items completed that have been sitting on my desktop waiting to be done for weeks So this system is working for me.
She was efficient and fun to work with.

Tracy and her assistant worked tirelessly and confidently on cleaning out a very cluttered 1st bedroom that I'd planned to use as a workspace. I won't brace myself. They were amazing! Tracy asked appropriate questions about my attachment to items, how I wanted to use the space, how I REALLY work. She was respectful, honorable, tough and funny. What I thought would be a kick to my core was liberating. And on top of all of this, they took my charitable items to donation centers. It was a lot folks. I would NOT hesitate to use them again.

The service was absolutely wonderful. They responded right away, and showed up on time. The workers were very good about staying right on top of things. I appreciated how they did exactly what I asked them to do. They were also very helpful in helping to decide what I needed to keep and what I should not. Everything went very smoothly, and I would recommend them.

Most of the stuff that needed attention in our mess of a garage and toxic waste dump of a gardening shed was my husband's, so he had to be around to make decisions about what to keep and what to toss. That meant it had to happen on a Saturday, which Tracy happily scheduled. That Saturday turned out to be one of the coldest days on record in L.A. and we offered to reschedule since they'd be working outdoors with the garage door open, but Tracy laughed that off and insisted that she was of tough Celtic stock and the cold wouldn't bother her. Tracy and two cheerful assistants arrived at 9 am and immediately got to work. They worked for an hour or so, then called us to join them to make decisions about what to give away, what to toss, and what to keep. Tracy is half psychotherapist, half best friend when it comes time to make these decisions and we ended up laughing our way through this process. Then they sent us away again, and when we came back, everything was magically organized and arranged on shelves around the perimeter of the garage -- automotive supplies on one set of shelves, Christmas decorations on another set, sports equipment on another, etc, etc, etc. With printed labels on every shelf that they made on a special little printing machine!
We had a lot of unused paint and home improvement supplies that we no longer needed and all of it went to Habitat for Humanity, which made us feel very good. While they were working in the garage, my husband and I cleaned out some closets indoors and they took away the clothing discards to a thrift shop for us. Old printers, computers, cell phones, etc went to e-waste disposal and old insecticides and cleaning chemicals and the like went to the proper ecologically safe disposal place. Old bank statements and such were shredded. And other discards went to charity/thrift stores (with tax receipt arriving by email that evening!). Tracy and her assistant worked until well after dark, and never lost their enthusiasm or their good cheer.
I've already recommended Tracy and dClutterfly to several friends, without reservation and do so again here. My husband, who was very reluctant about hiring an organizer was thrilled at the end of the day and actually said he was inspired to organize his walk-in closet, which, trust me, is a miracle.

We had an impossible garage situation. We started by just piling tons and tons of junk in there when we moved in five years ago and it went downhill ever since. I'm talking about years and years of past lives of both my husband's and mine. And then years of past stuff from our kids -- tons of clothes and toys and bedding and furniture and car seats. You could not take one step into our garage. And the thought of tackling it -- with both my husband and I working full time and spending our weekends at soccer and baseball games -- was exhausting. So we called Tracie and she send the dClutterguys. OMG I LOVE THEM. They pulled everything out for us and grouped it in a way that was entirely logical, and in a way that kept the things that you would want to go through carefully separate. Once that was done, it was so easy to just say, "Get rid of all of this," to certain categories, and to go through others. I was so worried that we wouldn't finish the garage in a day. We were done by 3. Now, every night, when my husband actually PULLS HIS CAR into the GARAGE, I am STILL amazed.

Tracy and her assistant were amazing. I'm a very organized person and it was like having 3 of me instead of 1. Moving is very stressful and downsizing can be quite challenging. Tracy came over to assess my new house situation, then called up her assistant, and we all got to work opening boxes, figuring out what to throw out or give away, and figuring out how to fit and reorganize my new quite smaller kitchen. It took us a full, long day of work, but by the end of it, I had a fully functioning kitchen. Tracy and her assistant were work horses. They just kept going until they got the job done and they kept coming up with creative ideas. Plus they were fun to talk and hang out with. It was a splurge to be able to use Tracy's services, but it really made this move go more smoothly with my sanity intact. If you have the money, it's worth hiring Tracy and her staff. You won't be sorry.

I hired Tracey because I have bad arthritis and need a lot of help unpacking and organizing. The cost was to have been reimbursed, so I really had to keep it within reasonable limits. Tracey gave me a written rate list with all of her various services broken out, so it was easier for me to look it over and get a realistic sense of what scope of services I could afford. This was helpful to me, because I hate unpleasant surprises.
She and her assistant we very prompt and professional. I would give them general instructions about what went in which room, but left the specifics up to them. They came back with occasional follow-up questions from time to time, but for the most part they used their judgment and did a great job. They also hauled away the broken-up boxes and packing materials, and found someone else who could use the boxes. They hauled some of my stuff down to a thrift shop and e-mailed me the receipt for my taxes.
Tracey also has a lot of contacts in this neighborhood, so she's given me the phone number of someone who can haul away stuff from my garage, as well as the number for a good cleaning woman. I would say that all in all, I got exactly what I wanted, what I needed, and what I expected. I would hire her again in a heartbeat.

Tracy visited my home and gave me an estimated time that would be required. She suggested inexpensive, but durable shelving that I purchased prior to their work. She arranged for donation of tools and building supples, disposal of harzardous and e-waste and donation of other items. The guys did an excellent job--ontime, efficient and pleasant. I am very pleased with the results and the price was definitely fair.

dClutterfly is beyond my weak superlatives – I had files from the eighties, drawers which hadn't been looked at for years, a disorganized kitchen, old computers and electronics I didn't know how to dispose of safely, and, then the epically daunting task of a huge shed with 62 huge bins (left over after the amazing blessing that is the "Clean House" crew left) filled with files, nick knacks, memorabilia, and who knew what. Tracy and her assistant guided me through the process and they pared it down to 11 bins and then – none. I have nothing to store and have only to go through some pictures in a chest and letters in a storage ottoman. I went from not being able to find anything to a place for every thing and, glory be" my massive files transformed to two drawers of files all neatly labeled. She organized my life, and I value her advice, her expertise, her talent more than I can say. By the way, in paring down my 62 bins, she had the resources to have a mobile shredding truck come and shred and issue me a certificate of destruction and a hauler who worked miracles and into the dark -- tore apart my sheds, disposed of poisons, etc. safely and cleaned everything from my yard. Everything that Tracy did was thoughtfully executed – e-waste, donated, shredded, recycled. I am so grateful and cannot recommend her highly enough."

Tracy first came to our house to survey our needs. We were remodeling and needed to figure out how to eliminate a lot of stuff, organize the packing for one floor plus one room in our house. It was a complicated maneuver. Also, we had to measure and catelogue all our kitchen equipment. She spent over an over with us and gave us, and this is in the initial free consult, so many helpful ideas and worthy places for our unwanted stuff, that we began to feel as though we could see clearly a path ahead of us. I set about applying all the steps she suggested. Incredibly helpful. Then she met with us again and went through the whole house helping me think through each of the knotty problems that were stymying me. She gave me estimates on three levels of work, both time and money. They could do it all and finish it in a week and down from there. I opted for our doing most of it. She also told me how many bow many boxes, tape, bubble wrap and packing paper to buy and told me where to order them. She introduced the idea of a pod where you can pack the whole house up and it will towed away and stored. Finally, she sent over a very lovely, upbeat, indefatigable assistant who went at the job with enthusiastic energy and good humor. This job entailed packing all our fragile kitchen stuff, glasses and serving plates. She brought supplies, packed very carefully, labeled accurately and firmly secured all the boxes. She also was knowledgeable about organizing principles. And I call Tracy if I have questions. This project will continue over the next few months and I will continue to use her services. In addition, Tracy is a smart, can do, perceptive, personable wonderful human being.

Tracy came out and analyzed the work to be done with my garage and storage space -
they then organized and created space in the garage to allow things to be moved around.
Her crew then comes in and works!
They were very helpful with ideas and actually worked faster than I expected! Tracy is a doll and has a good eye for what needs to be done, and her crew is amazing! Looking forward to seeing them again - : )

Although Tracy was busy and I had to wait several weeks until she had time to come to my house, she was responsive and showed up on time each day that she was here (5 days). She and her helper were sensitive to my needs and the way I wanted to use the rooms so that the reorganization would work for me. It also was important to her that we use what storage equipment (existing shelves, boxes, etc. that I already had) so that I did not have to spend any additional money on storage items. As I use the newly functional rooms, I can determine if they would work better with different storage and then go buy what may be needed so that I maximize my financial expenditure. The process was that she and her assistant went room by room first emptying the room and then purging, sorting and organizing. In my case, each room sort of relied on the previous one being done so that it did not all come together until the job was completed. Although I was leary at times, Tracy continued to assure me that it would be great in the end and she was correct! My house is more organized and calmer than it has been in the 14 years that I have lived here.

I called dClutterfy and talked with Tracy, who said she would be out to survey the situation within one week. Exactly one week later she was here on the day and at the precise time we had agreed upon. She and Susan came prepared with various size bags, boxes, and supplies. After a discussion of how they would proceed, they began. For about several hours on the first day, they said I would not be needed. Eventually, I was asked to make decisions on various items, if I cared to. The entire process for two unusable rooms and a bathroom took a full two days. When they had finished, each room had been restored to its original appearance. Clothes had been separated, organized, and hung. The clothes destined to go elsewhere were donated to a thrift store that helps those in need. At all times they were pleasant and professional--a difficult to achieve combination! In order to write a balanced review, I've tried to think of areas of possible improvement. After fifteen minutes of cogitating, I have given up. As a retired teacher, I can only give them one grade: A+.

The services were great. No time wasted socializing, yet personable, clear and bright service. A wonderful day for a task I was dreading. I'd say the only thing that would have been more helpful was a detailed list of all of the things that were given away. This would have helped on an accurate record of a deduction AND it would have helped me as I briefly mourn for a few things I gave away and went looking for afterward. No real regrets on what was given away...Tracy was very supportive about reminding me that everything is going to people in need...oh, but that big old orange sweater will be a little missed!

Tracy McCubbin and her team are nothing short of sensational. Tracy came to my mom and me via Angie's List Wishmaker program. I needed to update an overcrowded study/den/library into a bedroom for my mom quickly. Tracy and her team came out to the house several times and worked their magic. Working closely with me—to make sure nothing was dejunked that would be upsetting—they helped me weed through an abundance of books and papers. They helped me get rid of over 1200 books which they helped me donate by bringing them to a public library. Their “garage guy” is awesome as is her entire staff. The garage guy helped to reorganize the garage so we could use some of that space to store other items. Tracy and more of her team--three very cool women--worked energetically on the den. Tracy and her team made it possible for my mom to live in her home on the first floor following a long nursing home stay. I have endless praise for Tracy and her staff. Tracy is a real dynamo and will help you get organized. She and her staff are always on time, professional, and will help you work through any tendencies “demons” that make you hold onto the past through the saving of objects. They are able to adjust to the pace you desire...i.e. I needed them to slow down a bit in the beginning--these were my parent's belongings we were weeding through and I did not want to make a mistake and get rid of something that would break my mom's heart. They made the adjustment. I can’t recommend them highly enough.

My office was out-of-control and together we tackled the disaster. The filing system was totally outdated and the office nothing less than a nightmare from which I could not wake. She turned chaos into organization. I could not be more pleased with the results - a new filing system with all new files and categories which she has indexed; a clean and organized office and bags and bags of trash shredded or thrown out!!!!! Tracy is extremely professional and a most wonderfully pleasant and honest person to work with. She made an extremely tedious chore into a fairly manageable situation. In addition, she worked with me on setting up systems that will keep me from ever getting into such a state again. She works well on her own as a couple of times I had other items for my work to take care of and she marched on ahead. I've highly recommended her and will continue to do so without any reservations.

Smoothly and effeciently. I had moved several times and had so much stuff in boxes, that I had forgotten what I had. They unpacked everything and laid it out, I came out from time to time and told them what I wanted to keep and what to donate. They repacked into clear plastic bins that I had run out and bought. They made my storage room a thing of beauty!!

This is the second time I have hired Tracy to tackle a tricky organizing job. I had interviewed two other organizers but Tracy had such a positive, energetic and resourceful approach that she was the obvious choice. The first time I hired Tracy she helped me de-clutter my packed garage, and dealt with some big piles of stuff that I had accumultated in the house. This job involved sorting and packing delicate glassware and collectibles from a large entertainment center and sorting and organizing the contents of my pantry. Each time she was able to determine the best way to deal with the "stuff" - keep, donate, recycle, shred, sell, trash. Aside from her excellent organizing ability, what I really appreciated about Tracy was her compassion, sensitivity and sense of humor. There were some difficult choices to make but she was able to guide me through them and keep on going. Both times, after she left I felt a huge weight had been lifted. I have recommended her to anyone with "clutter" issues (everyone I know) and I will definitely be calling her again when I am ready to tackle my closets.

They were very professional, friendly, organized and made a lot of good suggestions. They were responsive and got back to me right away and were in contact with me either through phone or E-mail. All the crew members were skilled, neat and they even cleaned up after themselves. They knew what they were doing and did everything that I wanted them to do. They disposed all the electronic waste and even donated things to different organizations.
