No problems with any of the workmanship, as referenced in our description of the work. He brushed and rollered all of the paint on, as he believes that gives a better result than spraying. We agree. We paid for the paint because we had discount coupons at Home Depot, and also had a contact for the scaffolding . Otherwise, all other materials were included in the cost of the job. He was on time each day, and completed the work when he said it would be done.
Description of Work: We hired them to paint 5 rooms of a 2,200 sq ft home, including baseboards and very large crown moldings. We purchased the paint and rented the scaffolding ourselves, as some of the ceilings are over 14 feet high. Not only did Allen pick out exactly the right shade of paint for all the rooms (after we collected stacks of color chips for months that were totally wrong----he has 3 college degrees in art, architecture and design) he completed the job in a very timely manner. Also, he rebuilt a small fence area, and did some minor tile work in our bathroom requiring the removal and replacement of the toilet. He showed fine attention to detail and was very neat, resulting is little disruption to our lives. Realistically, all construction requires good dialogue, patience and a sense of humor.

The job went very well. Allen and Crew were there every morning at 7am, ready to work. Stared on the date we agreed and worked straight through. There were of course some delays, as we had to wait for Windows to be delivered. The entire job took 8 weeks, which is great considering at one point there was not even one sheeted wall in the whole house. The detail work always takes longer as paint has to dry and stucco has to cure.
Description of Work: Allen, remodeled by whole house. I am very much a do it yourself type of guy, but there is just not enough time in the day to do everything. I hired Allen from a recommendation from a friend. We started on a small porch project, once this was finished in Dec 2010, we moved on to the rest of the house in 2011. The job moved into a second phase and we remodeled the rest of the house. The walls both inside and out were replaced. New stucco, and drywall. New gorgeous windows and Door frames which actually match the doors. There was a lot of strange framing we found in the walls, but what would you expect for a 100+ year old house. All in all great work, I am planning on hiring Allen again for phase 3.
