Marcos and his crew did the most amazing job with our floors.  The patchwork he did is incredible, you would never know that it wasn't part of the original floor.  Marcos is very knowledgeable with regard to products, techniques, everything.   The team was very professional and punctual.  Marcos was also always very easy to get in touch with.  The cost of his services was very competitive and actually a little cheaper than the two other estimates I received.  We could not be happier with what look like brand new floors in our home that was built in 1948.  Best $5k I've ever spent, would absolutely recommend Marcos to anyone.

Marcos was pleasant and professional from beginning to end. Great at communicating, willing and able with other workers on site. He clearly explained our options, and worked with us to figure out a solution for the mix-and-match woods in our new house. He patiently put out color samples on the floor, and intelligently participated in the conversation to figure out what would work best.
Pine floors are uncommon in LA, and took the stain differently from the more common and workable oak. At first it gave Marcos problems. Unsatisfied with the results he was getting, he tested and implemented a different technique. He kept us posted throughout the process.
His employees were skilled and efficient. Work was completed in exactly the time he planned. At the end of the job he addressed a couple of areas that didn't come out as we all would have liked (not due to the work, but because of the unpredictability of these old floors).
Honest, thorough, and dedicated to his work. You can't do better.

He was a little abrupt when he showed up for estimate but overall did a great job on recoating.

Terrific experience! Called Marcos to set up an appointment for an estimate. He scheduled us right away and showed up right on time. He took measurements and showed us photographs of previous projects he had completed on the same style floors. He sent us an estimate later that night.
We agreed on a price and a start date. I didn't need to supervise them at all, they knew exactly what they were doing, and they did it well. I left them a spare key, and they returned it when they were done. Marcos kept in contact during the entire process. He sent me photos to make sure that I was still OK with the color (which i was), and asked for my permission each time before making the next step.
The entire process took two days (as per the norm), and the result was fantastic. The floors look brand new...probably better than they've ever looked. When we came back into the house, the floors were clean, with no dust anywhere.
All in all, a really great experience. Marcos and his team are incredibly professional and efficient. Highly recommend!
