I went on Angie’s List to find a company to clean my carpets. I was referred to Sam Services. I told them I could pay $100. 1 br apt. They agreed to the price. They sent out a company called. Green and Clean. They were 4 hours late. The tried to charge me $275. We agreed on $150, much to my protest. The technician was in and out of my apartment in 40 minutes. I questioned this as well as why was he not using a shampoo machine. He said the one machine did everything. When he was done, the carpets looked slightly better, I thought. I paid the $150. When the carpets dried, they looked just as dirty as before the cleaning. I contacted both Sam Services and Green and Clean. They both said they would correct the problem. Since then, they do not take my calls or return my messages. Yesterday, I was on hold with Green and Clean with 3 calls ahead of mine. It got down to where I was next then the call was disconnected. U called back 2 more times. The recording said I was next. Then after a few minute on hold I was again disconnected. They have me in caller ID. I know this because the first time I called (Green and Clean) they answered and said my street name. I am out $150 because I have to get another company to redo the carpet cleaning. As a note, I used to clean carpets for a living and I know how to make any carpet clean (minus stains and damage). I looked on line and Green and Clean has a 1 star rating. A lot of complaints.
