CITY WIDE ELECTRIC

Contractor missed two scheduled appointments & showed up unexpectedly later when I wasn't home. My son called to tell me the electricians were at the house. I rushed home & was met by two electricians. I told them what I wanted, & they proceeded to urge me to do rewiring that was unwanted & unnecessary. I authorized them to only remove the old fixture & install the new one. The supervising electrician showed me his price book listing $108 to install a regular fixture & $417 to install a "chandelier" (a fixture over 20 pounds). He quoted me the "chandelier" price. By now I was so rattled, I foolishly agreed. Afterwards I felt I had been taken advantage of. A call to another company informed me that the fixture weighs 17 pounds & that company charges $110 to install it. I called Citywide the next morning for a price adjustment & was grudgingly offered only a 25% refund. That still made the install more expensive than the fixture & 3 times the going rate for this service.

From the initial phone call to the completion of the work, we found City Wide's personnel to be efficient, knowledgeable, and pleasant to do business with. They were prompt, courteous, and reasonably priced. We'd call them again and definitely recommend them to others.

THEY CAME INTO THE HOUSE AND REPLACED THE OUTLETS AND SWITCHES THROUGHOUT THE HOUSE. THE LIGHT HE INSTALLED IN THE SIDE YARD WAS BEAUTIFUL AND PROFESSIONAL AND DONE QUICKLY.

City Wide Electric came out on the same day that I called them and were about $15.00 less than the other electrician that I called. They had my heat turned back on with in 1 hour and the repair man that came out was very courteous and professional.
