piano tuning
 + -1 moreOur Spinet, once in excellent condition, had deteriorated to the point it was unplayable. We called Chung. He came out rapidly, examined the piano carefully, gave us a price, took the action back to his center, returned four days later with a beautifully done repair, fixed the keyboard, and put it back together. It now sounds better than when it was young. Chung is delightful, enjoys his work, takes pride in it. I enjoyed his work and his presence completely. I am delighted.
Description of Work: Completely repaired/restored the action and keyboard of an Aolian spinet.

 + -1 moreOverall, he is very professional, punctual, has a pleasant attitude and is a very good technician. His English isn't perfect, but good enough.
Description of Work: I called Mr. Chung to tune my 1973 Yamaha piano and replace a broken string. He set a time for the following day and arrived punctually. When he inspected my piano, he noticed a component of the action, thin cords holding small springs, had deteriorated and need replacing. He quoted me a price, for replacing them and I agreed. He replaced my string, then took the action back to his shop to repair. When he brought it back, he had also reconditioned the felt hammers and cleaned everything up. He spent at least an hour tuning my piano and also adjusted the play on each key. It almost felt like a new piano afterwards.

 + -1 moreTHEY WERE ALL GREAT. THE TUNING MAN THAT CAME OUT TO OUR HOUSE WAS ALSO VERY KIND AND GENEROUS. HE GAVE ME TIPS ON HOW TO KEEP MY PIANO CLEAN.
