Services we offer

We sell carpet and carpet padding. We are a close-out center for the major manufacturers of carpeting. We have thousands of rolls in stock. The customer is able to walk around our warehouse and select from the roll of carpet. We do not sell from samples, but from the actual roll. This is much better because we can open the roll and let you really see what the carpet will look like.

I was pretty happy with them. Their customer service was really good and also their carpet selection. It was pretty cheap actually; it was cheaper than other places. They actually just sell the carpet and then they refer us to a list of their carpet installers.

They do not do the installation but do reccomend people. The only minor problem with the installation was the matching of the pattern ... it was not 100% perfect. Matching patterned carpeting is a real art and there's no going back once the carpet is cut. The good news is where the cut is in the room and the busyness of the pattern makes it almost impossible to tell there's a problem. Again, this was a minor problem with the installers that are not a part of the business - but we're merely recommended by them.

From start to finish we had one sales person, we watched them roll out the carpet and cut and inspect the purchased peices, We looked at hundreds of shades of carpet, he walked us through the entire mill, we looked at pricing and we had a coupon, from begining to end it was actually fun.

I was happy with the carpet and selection. It would have been helpful to have reviews of the installers to make a choice. The installation could have been better.

Purchased Berber carpet. Large selection. You inspect the exact piece you select. Any problems you see are rectified. They wrap the selected carpet, wrap it in plastic and you mark it, so its your carpet when delivered. The warehouse is huge. The staff that helps with selection is no pressure and point you to the area of carpets your looking for. i suggest you have an idea what your looking for Berber, cut pile, shag, whatever because they have it all. This place is huge. You can hire an installer from there list or take it with you or pick it up within 30 days. I hired one of their installers off a list. He primarily works the area of the store but drove to Canyon Country to install the carpet. He did a great job. Overall great experience.

I will never buy carpeting anywhere else. The selection was HUGE, and the prices beat everything I had found elsewhere. I worked with two knowledgeable sales guys. I found some very contemporary carpeting, that matched my place perfectly. This place is a real find.

First the positive points: Their selection and prices are good for low to medium end carpet. You certainly won't find 100% wool wall to wall carpeting here, but if you are in the market for a reasonable quality product in virtually any color, you can find it there. Now my experience: I went there on a Saturday. It is in an industrial area of Commerce, hence the "Warehouse" name...they really mean it. Their selection is vast. When I finally found a carpet that I liked, I told the sales rep that I wanted to buy it, but that -- because I'm using it for an area rug -- I needed it bound. He said that they could set me up, and that it runs about $2 per linear foot. I also asked if they could arrange shipping, and he said that they could, but that would be extra. I was fine with that, but asked for a price. He said "Let's write up the order and then I'll find out about the binding and the shipping." I said that I wanted the price first, and he said that he'd check. He went into their office, and a few moments later, a manager of sorts came out. He rudely said "You want shipping? What kind of carpet is it, how much does it weigh, where is it going?" Literally barking at me. I said that I wanted to have it shipped to our home, had no idea how much it weighed (don't they...it's their merchandise?). He said that the company that did the binding might be able to do that, and offered to call them. It was a Saturday, and the binding company was closed, so he gave me their number and told me that I should call them. "We don't get in the middle here," he growled at me. On the following Monday, I did call his referral, Magic Carpet and spoke with Jo, who was very nice and confirmed the price. She also agreed (for a price) to deliver the carpet to my home. So like a fool, I gave them the benefit of the doubt and assumed that the manager's rudeness was an anomaly. I actually went back to Carpet Manufacturers Warehouse. After finding the carpet I wanted, I had them unfurl the roll; since most of the products they sell are second quality, I wanted to inspect the piece that I was going to get. The rep rolled it out, and it had a serious crease about two feet from the prior cut edge. I told him that I didn't want the creased portion, since he agreed that it was unlikely to go away. He told me that I would have to take it or pay for two more feet on the roll (which translates to nearly three square yards on a 12 foot wide roll). He, too, was rude. I'd about had enough of Carpet Manufacturers Warehouse. Rude, not customer friendly. I would say that the quality of the customer service matches the rating of the carpet that they sell: Second quality.
