He took great pains that all was level and the stones fit in a nice way.  Three years later it still looks beautiful.  I had a cost estimate from other bids far higher that Carlos'.

Carlos is not a service provider you should work with. We hired him initially to remove the popcorn ceilings in our home. I must say that he did a fairly good job of that. The work was quick and the results were wonderful. So, we decided to hire him to paint the interior and exterior of our home. That's when the trouble started. Carlos' work as a painter is shoddy, sloppy, and completely unprofessional. Carlos does not speak English well but his wife does so information/requests were getting filtered through a third party which is where some of the problems arose. Carlos did not do any of the necessary prep work or cleanup associated with a quality paining job. He painted over tape, dirt, etc. which was totally unprofessional. The paint started to bubble and chip in several rooms and outside after about a month. It has only gotten much worse since then. Carlos was unresponsive to our requests for a remedy. There are so many service providers out there, there is no need to worry about the hassle you might have wit Carlos. Please look elsewhere for your home repair/updating needs.

Carlos is nice, but his work is sloppy. There was paint splattered on the tiles and floor because he did not use the tape I provided. There was paint on the rims of all of the hardware and the sink cabinet. The painting was very uneven on the bottom edges. He destroyed the brushes I provided, and took a paint roller with him when he left. I would not hire him for anything ever again.

He does everything from stucco, painting, plumbing, etc. He did a wonderful job for me. Pricing was very good. He is a very hard worker and very reliable and reasonable.
