It was good. He was on time and friendly .

Was my bosses home. Over 13k sq ft of difficult surfaces to paint. Carlos is a Pro and he only works with good workers. I would highly recommend him for any project.

He was responsive and he got the work done earlier than the set schedule. We got a number of quotes and his price was reasonable. He listened for our feedback and made corrections during the project. We were not clear with that in the beginning so it was no big deal. There was good communication. He was not sleek and he was not a full package but he did everything that he said he was going to do.

They were fantastic! We would definitely use them again. The quality was very high. They paid very strong attention to detail. They were very clean. Carlos is very on top of things. He is willing to come back if there are any touch ups needed. We have used quite a few painters over the years, and they were by far the best. We will definitely only use them in the future.

Carlos arrived exactly on time for the estimate, and once I hired him, his crew showed up *exactly* at 8:00 everyday to start work. I asked him to exclude painting the window, which is time consuming, and only touch up on the doors, and still the quote seemed a little high. At the end of the job, I noticed that he had in fact done a complete one-coat on all the doors--so in the end I felt I got really good value out of the job, because he was right, those doors needed the paint. Also, I had a handyman completely gutting the bathroom, with new walls, tiles, fixtures. He was supposed to be done by the time Carlos and his team arrived, but wasn't. And all his stuff was all over the apartment (it was a rental between tenants I was fixing up). Didn't faze Carlos--he and his team consolidated all the junk, made a neat pile in the middle of the room and got to work. The handyman was not done with the drywall and tile by the time Carlos team was done, and I told him I didn't mind doing a little trim and touchup, but Carlos insisted on coming back himself the next day to finish--he told me "I feel better if I see everything is done"

Went perfectly. Carlos arrived on time for the estimate, gave us a proposal in writing and showed us photos of past jobs he had done. We said we needed to sleep on the bid and we hired him the next day. He showed up the day he said he would a little early and he and his partner looked professional and ready to go. They worked hard all day with only a 45 minute lunch. The job was hard and required lots of sanding, patching and spraying of many coats of paint. They finished and cleaned everything perfectly. This is now the most beautiful room in the house. Carlos should really come back and photograph this room for his portfolio.

I called Carlos based on the reviews on Angie's list. He come over within 2 hours to inspect the work and give me a free estimate which was so inexpensive compared to other people I called; the fact that he came over within 2 hours was amazing. He came back a couple of days later to do the work and was very professional and did a great job. He did the work so well you couldn't even tell any holes had been there. In fact, my surround sound installer came back and I showed him the work and he was so impressed that he asked me for Carlos' name and number and has since used him for other jobs. Carlos was very nice, soft spoken, friendly and honest. He didn't try to sell us on more stuff than we needed. He made observations about the quality of our paint jobs since we just bought a new home, and he made helpful suggestions on improvements we could make. He is coming back to paint our living room and paint/repair our door in a few weeks. The estimate we got from him was 30% cheaper than other people we called. He is a one-man show and brings other guys in depending on the size of the job, but more of a family-style business which still believes in honest and excellent work.

I called several painting services and Carlos was the first to call me back. He was EARLY for his estimate appointment and meticulously inspected the area we needed painted, making recommendations on paint and wall/ceiling patching. We negotiated the estimate he gave us and he lowered the price. Carlos and his two associates showed up on time and had the highest level of professionalism I've ever encountered in home repair. They were clean, quiet, kind and MASTER painters. I love the work they did and will use them again!

We had just finished removing the drywall on the ceiling in our front entry way room to expose the wood beams underneath, so we needed to have it painted along with the wood window frames and walls. Carlos was on time to give his estimate, and he actually did the estimate on site, taking his time and putting together a thoughtful bid which he gave me before leaving. He was the most courteous and responsive of the several bids we got. And even though he wasn't the lowest bid we got, we arrived at a very acceptable price when I called to tell him we wanted to hire him a couple of days later. He arrived on time and fully prepared for the job. Carlos is very open about talking out various steps of the job and answering any and all questions as they arise. He is patient and friendly along the way. But most of all, he is a very skilled painter. A true professional who makes you see where others fall short. It's all in the prep work, and he spends the time to really get that right. And anytime there was a thing or two that I pointed out might need a bit more attention (ie patching compound smoothing out, etc.) he did it without any hesitation. He is also patient in the color choosing process and weighs in thoughtfully with his opinions on colors and type of finish. The end result is a truly professional paint job for a fair price when you consider the amount of work and care he puts in.

Carlos was very professional and very personable. He spent a lot of time assessing and discussing the areas to be painted, and he also provided us with an estimate on the spot.

It went great! Carlos helped me choose colors and was patient while we tried out several samples. His crew moved furniture and worked carefully and professionally. They did a great job! Carlos was very concerned about making everything beautiful and giving us what we wanted.

Perfect work Mr. Barrios returned call immediately and was able to complete the job within a few days. The work was excellent and he is courteous and prompt.

I called Carlos yesterday morning and he returned my call promptly. He informed me that he was working in Malibu on a large job, but would stop by at the end of the day to give me an estimate for my rental unit, as well as another estimate for painting the living room, dining room and bath in my home. He said he would get back to me later on the estimate for my home because it would require more detail work. He quickly assessed the job on my unit to cost $160 and seemed to know exactly why the wall was bubbling. I was afraid that some rain was getting in causing it to bubble, but he informed me that the last painter had not properly primed the wall so the paint was not sticking properly. He came early this morning and was finished around 11 a.m. I thought his price was a little high, but I was in a spot because the new tenants needed to move in. He did a SUPERB job. He made the wall and molding look like new. I'll use him for my home, but he's too expensive for rental property.

They came on time, worked efficiently and with professionalism. Overall a very good experience.

Carlos came to our house and after an inspection provided us with an estimate. He started the job a few days later. Our house had not been painted for more than a few years and it was a major overhaul. Carlos and his crew did and excellent job. He was very receptive to doing or redoing any little details that were overlooked. We would recommend him to our family or friends. He also speaks Spanish.

Carlos responded to my call the same day and came out the following day to give me a bid. He started the job within two days of my selecting him, arrived on time with paint color charts for me to review and moved quickly through the project. He was not on site all day every day but kept an eye on the progress and called the one day he needed to move his experienced drywall man to another project. He easily added additional work as I requested it and made helpful suggestions as well. I am totally pleased with his professionalism, price, and work performed and I will definitely use him again for this building.

They did a beautiful job for a very reasonable fee. They patched and textured places so well I couldn't find where the patch was, and I knew where to look. They are both delightful personalities, so they are very pleasant to have around. They cleaned up after the work, and left the place in great condition.
