Unlike the other contractors we interviewed and from whom we received quotes, Carlos de Leon was very careful up-front to understand what we were looking-for in our kitchen remodel and to suggest solutions that were affordable and exactly met our needs. His pricing is fair and he always meets his commitments ... he shows up when he promises and performs the work as specified for the price agreed. His crew cleans-up daily and works a full day on-site (arrives at about 7am, takes a short lunch, and works to the day's stopping-point in late afternoon). 
Carlos has specialty sub-trades - electrical, carpentry - for when those are required. He does his own cabinet fabrication work and it is excellent quality and affordable. He has sources for every type of stone and tile, works with a skilled stone-cutter and does his own tile work and stone installation. He is extremely concerned about ensuring that he is meeting his customer's needs every step of the process.
Bottom line ... Carlos de Leon is conscientious, skilled, quality-oriented, customer-focused and reasonably priced. He specializes in kitchen and bath remodeling ranging from only new finishes to complete remodels with demo back to the studs and a full rebuild.
Carlos was recommended to us by a neighbor and we have, in turn, recommended him to our neighbors. We look forward to having him do bathroom work for us in 2013.
