PROBLEM: Our issue is with AVI-Con/CA Construction, Riverside, CA. (not AAA), who was fired by my husband & I, June 1, 2017, for our home not being worked on in almost 11 months. Well's Fargo gave AVI-Con/CAConstruction a total of $133,166.00 of our money because an inspector said our home was 50% completed and we still don't have a roof. We asked for another inspection which we received on June 20, 2017. The inspector expressed his disbelief that Well's Fargo would payout anything based upon the present condition of our home- (partial roof, no windows,no drywall, no flooring) and he gave it 35% completed. AVI-Con/CAConstruction, failed the last inspection on June 10,2017, and was still allowed to make a final $53,000.00 draw from our escrow account prior to being fired for property neglect and elder abuse (I am 71 years old). RESOLUTION: AVI-Con/CAConstruction, we are still waiting on you to transfer the permit into our name and give us our $133,166.00 with interest that you are refusing to return to us. We hired more credible licensed contractors to complete our home. We are still living at the Marriott Hotel, waiting for you to respect our decision to hire others to get our home built. In less than 1.5 months we will be homeless thanks to you not working on our home for almost 11 months which should have been completed in April 2017. Pray for all of us and pray for them too. We are feeling used and elder abused, but still smiling, trusting and believing that God is in full control of this situation. Still making lemonade out of lemons. Everything was excellent. They did excellent tile work. Their overall preformance in everything was great.
