I called this company for a repair on an older refrigerator in Glendale This was through their phone number 818-500-1877 (note this office also uses 818-989-4108). I was told a field estimate would cost $29.00. The technician told my elderly father that he couldn't evaluate the compressor without installing a relay first. This he did, and then determined the compressor was shot, and would cost $750.00 to replace. Since we could get a new unit for about the same, we declined. The technician then insisted my father pay $33.10 plus tax for the useless relay, saying he couldn't resell it since it had been installed once, and thus charged him a total of $65.00. I called Ross at their office to complain about the increased charge for a useless part, and was brushed off with "if you knew anything about refrigeration, etc..." The bottom line is you shouldn't charge for a part unless you complete a repair. I would not use this company again.
