+ -1 moreThe charm of this old hardware store brings back memories of the days when gardeners stopped in to get needed supplies as well as Japanese household supplies and cooking utensils for the homemakers. There is an extensive selection of seeds for Asian vegetables. The items are high quality and are not available elsewhere. It is always an adventure to stop in at Anzen.
Description of Work: Nori showed us several interesting items, the most interesting being the charcoal rods that are used for "authentic Yaki tori--Japanese style grilled chicken; chef grade ceramic knives, and Japanese gardener boots. My cousin bought the knife and I bought a press to make tsukemono--pickled vegetables.
