Senior Alert was a much more reasonable price and they gave better deals as far as I can see. They got better equipment and everything. I got it online and they mailed me the box and all I did was plug it in and they mailed me the thing that you wear around your neck. I had a choice of 2 free things, one was some kind of a key that you wrap around the door and then it will lock and you will actually activate it and the lady on the other end calls the paramedics or the police or something. They don't have to break down your door with a hatchet, they give them the code and they would just open that little lock and take the key and actually walk in and you can change the code anytime. I mean that was a fairly neat thing. They were fast, they do a monthly check to make sure your machine and you are working. You get a real voice and I think that's one of the things I liked about them. I haven't used it yet or had to use it as an emergency but if your down and your coughing, they stay with you until the paramedics come so they don't just say we'll send them and they're on their way. Like I said I haven't used them but they're there when I needed them. I got them, I researched it, they send everything they said they were gonna do, it's just that I've never had an emergency that they had to respond to.
