American Overhead Garage Doors

This is a condo I own. They were good. They came out very promptly, they did god work and the price was reasonable. They were really good, really fast. They were easy to deal with the guy came out. I think he came out the same day that we called. He was really nice, had all the right equipment. They got the job done much quicker than I expected. Redid the remotes. We've used them in the past too. We would certainly call them anytime we need that kind of work.I don't remember the cost. I remember thinking the price was very reasonable.

The removal of old and installation of the new door went very smoothly. Dana came to give us the estimate; Eric and David did the work. We are very pleased with the result.

He has been great. He shows up for the job with his workers. He showed up and took care of the repairs with no problems. He was always on time, very reasonable in his prices and my client has as well been happy with his work. We have never had him to come back and fix something that he didn't do right. They have always showed up on time.

Garage door opener has had issues since I moved here 2 years ago. Door would often start to open or close then stop and reverse. Was also very loud. Recently I couldnt get it to close at all and then noticed smoke coming out of the unit. Thought it was finished as its a pretty old unit. Dana was able to come over within about an hour after my first call, diagnosed the problem, changed one part, made a few adjustments and now the door opens and closes the first time I press the button and is more quiet than ever.

He clearly knows his stuff. My experience couldn't be beat - quick service, efficient and seemed reasonably priced. And, offered to provide discounted services if the fix doesn't last.

Very good in all ways

Dana was very prompt in returing my inital inquiry call. He gave me a rough estimate on the phone and then came by for an appointment to show me the styles and a more specific quote. I agreed to the job and provided a $100.00 deposit while the garge door was ordered. Dana followed up several times (once to reschedule due to a delay in the delivery of the door due to no fault of his) to ensure I was comfortable with dates and times.
Two gentleman (one who came with Dana on the initial consultation) came on 10/31 to remove my old door and install the new one. The installation went well - took about 5 or so hours and the work looked great. Dana did call to follow up that day to ensure the work was completed to my satisfaction. I did get a double garage door with windows along the top, seal around the edges and an automatic opener.
I am not sure if I got the and quot;bestand quot; price overall but I am willing to pay a little more for proper service and attention. I called Mesa Doors once and the individual that answered the phone was a bit rude and then put me on hold and finally cut me off without ever coming back - this helped my decision not to deal with a big corporation. Plus I saw another reviewer when I was researching state that Mesa tacks on fees for every little item, driving the price up to a level similar to the flat fee that I paid for the entire job, inlcuding hauling and disposing of my old door.
I was happy with the work and would use the company again if the need arose.

I had the hinges, springs, and door opening apparatis replace by a another company. The work was extremely shoddy and eventually broke. The arm from the chain drive to the door bent. I found Dana on Angie's list. He picked up my call on the third ring. He was on the road in his truck and had me call him back and leave my contact info. He called me back within 15 minutes. After learning of the items to be repaired, he asked if I needed emergency/weekend repair or could I wait until Monday. Most people would have jumped at the chance to charge the higher price. I considered his discernment very courteous. We made an appointment for Mon. at noon. He said he'd call if he could make it earlier and he did, 8:30. I had to go to work and left him with a friend. I asked if he needed payment and he did not. Dana immediately saw the issue. Repaired it quickly and neatly. The door opens more smoothly than it ever did and the best part, it is QUIET! I will be calling him to replace the strut as recommended. I'm thrilled to have found a courteous garage door professional. He has a high rating on Angie's List and completely deserves it!

I called Dana for an estimate on work to replace two garage doors for my three car garage. He was very friendly and came out quckly. He was on time and very professional. I knew what I wanted and he was able to supply me with exactly what I was looking for at a fair price.We arranged for an install date and even though I had to change the date at the last minute (due to other construction in the house) he was fine with it and rescheduled right away.His team arrived on time and they worked for 2 days until the job was done. They were very professional and the doors were beautiful. The installer even set up the remotes and the remote button in my car.This is a very nice, reliable company, and I would recommend them. Certainly, I would use them again if I ever have a need for garage doors.

It took them all of twenty minutes. They even played with my dog, the culprit in damaging the garage door opener in the first place. I was very pleased and would call them again for any garage door repairs.

Dana was great! I had an early start to my day because someone had broken into my garage and they left my garage door all tweaked out of alignment. My first guess was that both hinges needed to be replaced and I found Dana here on Angie's list. I gave him a call and he was able to be on his way to Long Beach asap. When Dana took a look at the damage and lucky for me, he thought that the door could just be rehung and have new springs installed to fix my problem. The springs were pretty old, so it made sense.
So about an hour later, with a new set of springs and door locks; along with his and David's expertise, I would say that my door works better than before. The cost of the whole thing was under his estimate and so, I am going through my day a lot happier than how it started out.
Don't hesitate to call him. I have no hesitations to recommend him to anyone.

Worked on Memorial Day with no additional charges. Great service, professional, on time, fixed the problem and diagnosed other potential problems (replaced 10yr old springs and check out hardware). Door works great, stops now when it is supposed to, opens when remotes active, programed my car remotes, and the garage opens much quieter than before.
