Overall, I had a good experience at Alan Desks. I walked in off the street and Jim helped me right away. He also has a cute puppy that walked around with us as he showed me their desks. Jim didn't pressure me into buying anything out of my price range. After the initial visit, we spoke mostly via email. He was always prompt with his replies. The delivery guys were great too. They had to carry the desk up 3 stories to my loft. They got it up there safely and didn't complain at all.

The overall experience has been very good. Their customer service is superb. Jim, one of their designers, spent countless hours working up CAD layouts and checking information with various suppliers to get what we wanted. Ron, the owner, spent time with us in their showroom, and he is the perfect embodiment of customer service. They are not the cheapest, but they are extremely professional, and their customer service and follow up are just terrific.
