Agave Landscape

After some inconsistent correspondence on their part, we finally made a time to meet to discuss their plans and estimate. I made special arrangements at work to be able to meet them. THEY NO SHOWED! I called a few times, texted, etc., but no one replied. Given the good reviews on Angie's List, I was excited to go forward with them. What happened?? I will never know, because they never tried to get in touch with me.
I am an understanding person and realize that things can happen, but they absolutely left me hanging!

This is our second time calling on Agave and it was also an excellent experience.
Claudia from the office returned my inquiry call promptly and an appointment was scheduled.  Unfortunately, the company had an emergency at the last minute and had to reschedule.  We were in the middle of a large landscaping project and Claudia really helped to accommodate our needs and schedules.  Agave made a special trip in the early evening after a long day of tree cutting and performed the work for us.  Saul and his workers did a great job and were priced fairly.  We will call on Agave again for future needs and recommend them.

I contacted Agave Landscape and received an immediate response.  They assessed the job, gave a bid which I accepted, and the work was performed promptly with the job well done.  I will definitely use their services in the future and highly recommend them.

The team from Agave showed up on time and got the work done in a few hours. They were pleasant to deal with and I would absolutely use them again.

It was alright. They didn't really do the job. They left half of it, but it was alright. They were average, they charged me somewhat about the same price. They came when they said there were. They did well in their professionalism.

Ficus trees were trimmed, ficus leaves were only half cleaned up and there were areas where leaves were left, the grass was cut. and the workers did clean up behind themselves and hauled away the clippings and grass that they did clean out. I had to finish the job on the following Saturday for 8 hours!!

I couldn't list what was done, as it was wonderful. If ever services were required, they responded quickly and those services were provided and exactly as requested.

I have only wonderful things to say about Agave, and I would be comfortable referring them.

They were very good; they did a very thorough job. And the crew they sent over was very nice and professional.

Called Agave and left a message regarding the palm tree removal. The office called back and arranged for Saul to come the following AM and take a look. Saul arrived on time and matched a previous quote we had received. We agreed to have Agave return the following AM and remove the tree.
The next AM the crew arrived earlier than we were told, but it wasn't a problem. The crew efficiently cut down the tree and then leveled the remaining stump. They did a nice clean up of the area. A sprinkler was broken during the removal, but the crew fixed it on the spot. Because the neighbor was paying half of the cost, we asked Agave to bring an invoice, which they did.
We were happy with Agave Landscaping and would use them in the future.

Called early in the week and assault was out the next day. Agreed on a price and his crew was out the following Saturday. They did a great job, worked fast and did a good job cleaning up he removed 3 palm trees, a pepper tree (roots were destroying the walkway) and cleaned up the overgrown back yard. Plus they trimmed another tree in the back. In addition to this they "skinned" the remaining 3 palm tree trucks. They looked awesome when the crew was done.

Placing solar panels on my roof and two trees are creating shadows on the roof. Solar Company says they must be removed. Contacted 4 Angie's list Tree Service companies, had them out to look at the project and submit bids and schedules. Agave Landscape (Saul) was low bid and he could do the work immediately. Gave him the job at 6 PM on Tuesday and at 7:30 AM the next day, he and his helper were on the job. He did a great job of removing and trimming the trees and not stepping on or killing plants under the trees, did not break sprinkler head or pipes and cleaned up perfectly. They were finished a little after 1 PM. Great job, great company. Thanks, Saul.

I HAD COMPLETE ROCK REMOVAL DONE FROM THE BACK YARD, AND THEN GRASS AND SPRINKLERS AND A TREE INSTALLED. IT TURNED OUT BEAUTIFUL! I LIVE IN THE DESERT AND THE GREEN IS JUST WHAT I NEEDED. THE SPRINKLER SYSTEM IS MORE THAN I EXPECTED WITH A GREAT TIMER AND 3 SECTION SPRINKLER SYSTEM. VERY HAPPY WITH THE QUALITY OF THE WORK.

Saul and his crew did an excellent job
designing and installing a desert friendly landscape in my front and back
yards, including drip irrigation to every plant.
He has followed up with return visits
to insure the plants are doing well and the irrigation is working correctly.
I recommend Agave Landscape to anyone in the market.

His people showed up on Fridays instead of the Thursdays that we had agreed on (so after the first cut, the grass filled our pool just after the pool cleaner had come!). I know...first world problems, I should not whine. We decided to just live with the Fridays.

But then the times on Friday were totally random, which really doesn't work for us. It would be nice to be out in the yard or in the pool and not have to leave because the mowers have started when you weren't expecting them. More whining on my part (ugh) but even something as expected as 'morning' or 'afternoon' would be nice.

They turned the sprinkler down, which at first I appreciated; but then our grass started to die (we turned it back up).

They didn't trim the sculpted tree out front so I did it myself. And now at this point- a month- our hedge is overgrowing into the sidewalk and dandelions are taking over the lawn.

Then we get a bill for $125 which would be fine except it had been just 3 weeks work in the first month, not four.

Not once did the owner that we originally met with call or stop by to ask what we thought of the service or if there was anything else they could do or change.

There are tons of gardeners out there for the same price so we are trying someone else to see if we can get better service.

Monick (wife) came and gave us an estimate was very friendly and understands what we went done. A little price but we are willing to pay for a good job and people that show up on time!

This is the third week and we will continue to use agave landscape . Very satisfied so far !!

Saul, the owner of Agave Landscape Service, came out the day after I sent them an email requesting a bid for tree services. He gave me a price which was competetive and agreed to do the work three days later. He arrived on time with the proper equipment and with his working partner (who's name I did not get) and they made short work of four large Palo Verde trees that hadn't been pruned in at least 3 years and probably longer. He cleaned up completely, took all the cuttings (including one tree that they removed entirely) and was done by mid -afternoon . I'd call Saul again for any type of landscaping services.

The entire experience went well - The workers were very professional.

I called Agave Landscaping for a large yard clean up estimate. They set a date convenient for me. I had two large palm trees cut down to my specifications , two dead trees cut down , I requested the stumps to be left at a certain height. One very tall California Pepper tree trimmed back and a Mesquite tree trimmed. The trim jobs were difficult because the branches were in the power lines. They hauled out a lot of wood debris from the front yard and back yard. One large tree stump pulled. They did not leave crater , the ground does not even show where the old stump was . They did a total yard clean up with mowing and weed eating. The clean up was excellent. All raking and blower work was beyond expectations. Their work and attitude was professional and respectful. They did the job exactly as I requested. This company is amazing. All this work in just under eight hours in 102 degree heat. Wow. I consider their fees to be very reasonable for all the work that was done. The yards are not small. This is a .27 acre lot. They arrived , reconfirmed the work to be done , started work and did not stop until it was done. I would call them again for any future work.
