Luis’ crew was highly efficient and professional. They were very well equipped both with equipment and man power. Communication was excellent and the price reasonable. I will definitely call them back when needed and refer to our neighbors.

Great company to work with. The team arrived promptly and did an excellent job trimming our tree. They were very accommodating to my wife’s specific requests, and were very friendly and respectful. They also did a great job cleaning up afterwards. I was very impressed, and would highly recommend them!

Luis, Omar, and the entire team were fantastic. The crew showed up at 8:30 sharp and worked hard all morning. They knew exactly what to do for the large palms and worked with me to prune other trees for health, aesthetic, and privacy. They were professional, polite, and personable. They covered the pool and they cleaned up thoroughly. I will definitely hire them again next year.

Louis has a crew that is TERRIBLE!!!! The first time we hired his company, 3 sprinkler heads were broken. We had our gardener replace them and we ate the cost. 2nd time around we had a palm cut and the stump removed. During the stump removal, a wood border was destroyed. This time around, when we hired Louis's company, we specifically told him to please be careful. As you can see from the pictures, his men were anything but careful. In total, several outdoor lights were destroyed, the pool cover was punctured in several places, the roof was damaged, rain gutter bent, back hedge demolished and sump pump & piping broken...to name a few. His men are like a pack of wild dogs, laughing, whistling to one another, yelling...acting completely unprofessional and immature. They clearly have no regard for the property of someone else. I will never use this company again. The damage was so bad we refused to allow them to finish the job. They cut large limbs and branches and just watch them fall destroying everything below. Update: After posting my review Louis decides to text me asking me to remove the truth and hide it from the public. When I disagree he threatens me. Then he tries to play the race card. Fortunately I have security cameras throughout our property.

We have used them several times now. They are not affordable, but that is their name. We have our trees done every 3 years.Tree care is very expensive. They do a very good job on the clean up.

We decided to have Louis remove the lemon tree since it was unhealthy, prune and crown the orange tree, and trim everything else. We weren't there the day he did it (he sent us a picture and video clip) and he was done in less time than he estimated. He had 4 or 5 guys on the job, and cleaned up everything (not sure if anything fell into the neighbor's yard, but we didn't see anything there and we didn't hear any complaints from them). We couldn't even tell where the lemon tree used to be! We're very happy with the work he and his crew did and their cleanup job. Louis invoiced us the next day and we sent him a check. We'd definitely hire them again.

I made an appointment for someone to give an estimate for tree trimming on 3- 23 and the estimator called to tell me he was going to be late. I was unable to wait and I told him I would call him at a later date to reschedule. I rescheduled the appointment again for him to show up on 3-28 and he was there early. We made an appointment for the service on 4-1 but I requested evidence of liability insurance and workers' comp insurance, which he said would be e mailed to me that same evening. I did not receive any e mail or evidence of insurance. On 3-29, I made 2 calls to the estimator but he did not answer nor was there a place to leave a message. I phoned the office in the morning and was told that the insurance certificates would be e mailed to me in the afternoon. I phoned the office 3 times in addition to phoning the estimator 2 times. The office worker kept saying that she never made it to the office on 3-29. I do not understand why they require all this follow up on my part to try to obtain certificate of insurance from them. After 5 phone calls, I gave up. If this is an indication of their customer service, I do not need this.

They came in with these big machines and got all those stumps out of the ground. I would use him again in future.

They've done a few things for us. They did something for us in July and August, 2015. They did a lot for us in August, 2015. April is when he started doing work for us.

They came with a big truck because the limbs are huge. They had a glider truck. He had the whole crew out here that day.

We just bought a house with a palm tree that hadn't been trimmed in probably 10-12 years. We were keen to get it taken care of right away, as we have little dogs who roam the yard and would've hated for falling leaves or the whole ring of dead leaves to fall when they'd be out there. Louis Limon answered my inquiry within a couple hours of leaving him a message, came by for a free estimate shortly thereafter. Louis has a kind and gentle demeanor and really takes the time to explain their work and the process. That's not all; he gave me the most competitive price, the shortest window of completion time and when the job was completed in a little over an hour by his crew of four, our palm tree was looking happy, healthy and svelte! I called him within an hour to ask him and his crew back to prune our pomegranate tree next. His guys came back a couple hours later and took care of it. AND they cleaned up the branches and leftovers immaculately. In us, Louis and his company have got customers for life!

In all, Affordable Care did a great job, and the skillful and artistic way they trimmed and shaped the palm trees was impressive. Really a magnificent job. I called numerous tree care specialists, many of whom just did not call back, or could not do work on a tree this size. I was particularly impressed with the way the Affordable Tree crew worked- a big team, and especially the skill of the young man whose job it was to trim & prune the very tall canary palm. I will be calling upon this company in the future for whatever tree work I need. Highest recommendation for value, skill, and overall professionalism. I appreciated very much Mr. Limon getting us into the schedule, particularly given El Nino rains and the high volume of calls I'm sure he's receiving. I would just add that the crew cleaned up the site exceptionally well, and made sure I was not left with anything I had to deal with myself. Much appreciated! A lot of work done for a very fair price, given what was involved, the number of people working and the hours and skills required.

My husband and I had an awful experience with Louis Limon of Affordable Tree Care. We hired his company to remove three trees from our yard and grind the roots. During Louis' consultation, he warned there was "a slight chance" that the crew might break "a couple sprinkler heads" when grinding the stumps. He added it was unlikely there would be other damage, because the water pipe appeared to hug the wall of the garage above the ground. He NEVER mentioned other possible damage. The next day, we discovered that Louis' crew had demolished two water pipes a foot below the ground. Worse, their equipment had destroyed a pipe ABOVE the ground that protected the electrical wiring attached to our jacuzzi light. The jacuzzi quickly emptied itself within two days, leaving it unusable and us with a hefty water bill to refill it. When we called Louis to complain, he refused to acknowledge his workers' negligence or cover the cost: $500 to repair the jacuzzi and another $200 to repair the water pipes. We offered to split the expense with him, but he adamantly refused, saying he was not responsible. Frustrated, we sent him a check minus the $500 cost to repair the jacuzzi. Two days later, Louis sent us five hostile text messages after 9 pm. When we did not respond, he showed up on our doorstep Saturday night. He was amped up and belligerent, putting his face within inches of my husband's and repeatedly dismissing our concerns. When my husband again suggested a compromise; Louis swore at him in front of our 3-year-old, yelling, "Just give me my f*cking money!" When my husband asked him to leave, Louis threatened him. He pointed two fingers at my husband's eyes and back at his own, telling him, "Okay, it?s personal now, me and you, it?s personal" He stomped to his car and drove off, shouting, "It's personal!" We hired Affordable Tree Care because Louis' written estimate and reviews on Angie's List emphasized that the company guaranteed its work and was insured. That was the opposite of our experience. We found Louis to be a bully, unethical and impossible to reason with. We would never hire him again.

Louis did the job quickly and professional. The job was to trim the big tree as it was getting in a way of neighbors and trims couple of bushes. Job was done without even me present there. I came at the property at the end of the day and everything was already done

They worked hard, from 8:30am to 4:00pm, in the sweltering heat, and cleaned up nicely.

I have used affordable tree care several times and they have always done a good job. On time and professional.

We were impressed with the quick response to our call. The owner came to the house within a couple of hours of our conversation even though it was dark. Our yard was well lit so he was able to give us an estimate. We had spoken with several others and the price he quoted beat them all. He started the job on the date agreed at exactly the time he said he would have his crew there. He and his crew worked through the day and into the evening in order to keep his commitment. They also cleaned up nicely. We'd hire them again in a minute.

For the price I think they a great job.

Of the three bids I got to trim about 12 trees on my property, they were by far the highest. They need to change their name since it misrepresents their prices.

My friend was in danger of having his house condemned because of a tree that was interfering with the electric lines running into his house. They came and took care of the problem. I intend to hire them again.

Job also involved removing bricks from patio area in order to create enough space to use machine which dug up the tree roots. Three men plus a supervisor worked on the job which was done within 2 hours including cleanup. We are very pleased with the outcome and would not hesitate recommending them.

Brian is one of those guys you just want to work with. He typically responds to messages left on his voice mail within 24 hours. He is easy to understand, knows his stuff (as does his crew), and has a great sense of humor. You just get the sense that you can trust him. Unlike experiences I've had with other companies, he's incredibly responsive and really communicates everything that you've agreed on to the men who are actually cutting the trees (no, it's not him), so there are no surprises when his crew leaves. Highly recommended.

Our tree was overgrown. We asked them to aggressively cut it back to the trunk and main branches. The did exactly as asked and cleaned up after. They even removed leaves that had been on the ground previously.
