Close to my home so they were convenient.  Fast and able to take me in right then and there. Process was quick, the price was very competitive. 

I believe they ordered the wrong part so I had to wait for the correct part to get delivered which added a hour and half to the work. I recommend they verify orders before they try to put them on.

The dealership I'd been going to since buying the car 10 years ago had quoted me $900 for the same repair.  The car still is performing perfectly after Affordable repaired it.  Furthermore, Stacy (the owner) explained every part of the repair to me before beginning and after, offered me options for repairs, and gave me a list of future maintenance and repairs that are recommended, with the order in which they are prioritized and what are symptoms of new problems.

I took my car to Honda of Downtown LA for an oil change. Without looking at the car, the service manager said and quot;We have to talk about your car, have a seat. I know you only drive a few miles a week, but your car is five and a half years old. It's imperative you replace all the fluids immediately before you do further damage to your vehicle. You know how milk gets lumpy and sour when you keep it in the fridge too long? Well, that's happened to your fluids.and quot;

I asked, and quot;How much?and quot; His adding machine went clack, clack, clack. and quot;Four hundred and ninety-six dollarsand quot;.

I said and quot;I'll get a second opinionand quot;.

I took my car to Affordable Care of Hollywood. Stacey Stevens said he'd check the fluids and replace or replenish them as necessary. He checked and said my car is in good condition, all it needed was new oil and filter, plus topping off other fluids. The price was less than a tenth what Honda of Downtown asked for.

I have been taking my Acura RSX to Affordable Care for many years. If you drive a Honda, Acura, Toyota, or Lexus you have to bring your car here. They are the best in the city for honest, quality service and repairs. Stacy and his team will evaluate your car and tell you, honestly, what needs to be fixed right away and what can wait. There prices are fair and they do great work.

We like this place a lot. We took our CRX here 'til we sold it after nineteen years, and we've taken our Honda Fit there since we bought it in 2007. We have a lot of confidence in Stacey's work and fairness. We can't imagine taking our Hondas anywhere else. If he did work on my 1967 Chevrolet Camaro, we'd take that to him, too! =^)

I've used Affordable Care of Hollywood for years. They specialize in Honda and Toyota so they really know cars well, their prices are fair, and they are really honest. There have been times over the years where I've called and just by describing the issues they have told me how to fix it without bringing it in so they are looking out for your best interests. I can't think of a time where they have gone over the estimate and frequently it's less than what is quoted.

It is so hard to find a mechanic that won't take advantage of a woman. I called and talked with Stacey, and I have been working with him for years and he is just absolutely the best that there is. His work is so excellent, and his prices are so fair, he is just a completely fantastic mechanic. He would never deceive a female customer, which many other mechanics do.

I paid about $1200 on that work. It reached to the level where the follow-up and details were given to us throughout the process. It took a little longer than I thought it would, but I felt that their focus was to provide variably good service at a reasonable price. I was pleased with their service and I have used them for a while now.

The reason we always go to Stacey is that he is such an oasis of a mechanic, in a desert of scoundrels. When I wanted to upgrade my car from my Accord (which was in great shape for a 12 year old car thanks to Affordable Care), I went with an Acura, because I wanted to stick with Stacey as my mechanic. He will tell you what's wrong with your car that absolutely needs to be fixed, and what is going to go wrong, and about how long you can put off fixing it. And history has proved him right. I keep his number on my cell speed dial, just in case, and no matter how busy he is, he is always responsive. The worse thing that has happened over the years is that other people have found him, which causes him to be so busy we don't have time to socialize as much on visits. I highly recommend him. He will make you believe again in honesty, integrity, and professionalism in auto mechanics.

I referred my daughter, who lives in the area, because of a "check engine" light on her '97 Civic. Someone saw her immediately when others would not. The technician (sorry, I do not have the name) diagnosed the probem and then referred her to the dealer because these were warranty or recall items and even provided her with printouts of the relevent items so that the dealer would know that she had correct information. He then replaced a burned out brake light at no cost. She will definitely be back there for service in the future.

These guys are straightforward and inexpensive. They are really expert on early eighties Hondas. They refuse to fix something that doesn't need fixed.

Another car company said I needed over $2000.00 in repairs. I took it to Stacey who checked out my car and told me that nothing was urgent and that my timing belt had at least another 20,000 miles left on it (I have only 83,000 miles on my CRV)! For all of this, he charged me absolutely nothing. He is patient, knowledgeable and extremely honest. I will be back as a return customer.

Wonderfully! Stacy promptly attended to my car. He gave me a ride home and another ride when the job was done. Since he wasn't sure my car was fully repaired, he didn't want any money at the time. I wanted to pay him for his time. It was fun, the kind of fun you get when one honest person is dealing with the honesty of another!! As it turned out, the air conditioning unit was indeed fixed. I had so many things wrong with my Honda that I was one step away from selling it. Stacy told me that fundamentally the car was OK and probably good for another 100,000 miles!

My car is running great and I have a mechanic I can trust- he says his goal is keeping customers for the long haul. It shows.

Affordable Honda is very affordable compared to their other competitors. If my car needs more than two hours, they provide a complimentary ride home. I like that they are very efficient and they always give me an estimate on how much it is going to cost before they do any work.

Stacy's Shop is fantastic. He likes working on Hondas because they are very practical and reliable. His service charge is significantly less than all other mechanics in our area. His work is awesome and I won't take my vehicle anywhere else.

The service technicians always recognize me by name and my car was clean when I got it back.

We've been going to Affordable Care for many years and continue to do so because of Stacey's extensive knowledge of older Honda's and the way he treats his customers. He stands by his work and his fees are reasonable. Once, he even fixed a minor problem for free. My only regret is that our other car isn't also a Honda.

The service is extremely courteous and personal. Stacy is the owner and he answers every phone call personally. He is very strong about knowing what his customers problems are. Very patient - and does great quality work. He stands behind his work and he is a nice person to deal with! His prices really are affordable for the quality work that he gives.
