The movers showed up very late and got lost on the way to my storage unit. The moving company had low balled the bid (even though I gave them all of the info they requested in preparation for the move) and upon arrival gave me a revised estimate that my move would cost at least $2000 more than originally quoted. They also had not weighed the truck prior to arrival (standard operating procedure). After I complained to the company rep and thought we had resolved the situation (me giving in to paying by cubic feet and the additional $2k charge), the owner of the company called and began yelling at me in a very unprofessional manner. He refused to calm down and when I asked him to stop yelling (for the fourth or fifth time), he hung up on me and canceled the move (I was only in SF for the move, so this was a considerable inconvenience). The estimated cost was $3,000.
