Mohr Clocks

First I joined Angie's List last week and that is how I found Mohr Clocks. After reading other members' reviews, and having an affinity for the name Mohr as my great Grandmother's maiden name, I had a very good feeling going in. When I called on Friday, I spoke with Norman and he initially asked me to bring the clock into his shop. I asked if he would be willing to come to the house and repair it, and he said that he would call me back either Sat. (the next day) or Tuesday to set up a time. It turns out he called me this morning (Sun) to ask if I would be home and I was, so he came to the house. It took him very little time to diagnose, oil, repair and rehang the clock. It is now keeping perfect time and I am very happy with my whole experience with Norman. I probably won't need his services for the clock again for another 5 years (this was his estimate), but I will happily refer anyone I know that needs their old clocks serviced to call Mohr clocks!

Mohr Clock is a great company, I highly recommend them. They offer a pick up service or you can bring your clock in and they work on all clocks.

The service was completed on time and at the price quoted. The clock runs great. I am particular about my clocks. I have used them before and would use them again.

I want to qualify this by saying they told me up front that the clock's motor was pretty much shot and the manufacturer does not make them any more. They said they could re-wind the motor, but there was no guarantee how long the motor could keep going. After they did this, the clock ran for a week, then stopped again. I took it back to the shop and they agreed to check it again for free. After this, the clock has been running steadily, although it runs a little slow. The people at Mohr are very friendly and helpful, and I could tell they really know clocks and love to work on them.

MOHRS DOES A GOOD JOB ON REPAIRS. HOWEVER, IT DOES TAKE A LONG TIME AND THE WORK IS NOT INEXPENSIVE.
