KILPATRIC'S TREE CARE

Everything went very well. Responded quickly when we requested him to come out for an estimate. We had seen reviews that said he did an excellent job with oaks. He is very knowledgeable and personable. He arrived at exactly the date and time he said he would. The work was expertly done. He cares very much about the health of the tree and knew exactly how much to prune. We were very pleased with the whole experience.

Great - showed up as scheduled and completed the work efficiently and well

Mr. Kilpatric came and gave a quote of $1350 with 10% off. I accepted the quote, and on the day of the work, he arrived, and then increased the quote by $200 because a tree limb had cracked between the first quote and when he arrived. During the work, he discovered another $200 worth of extra work which he asked for on the phone. I agreed to the extra money both times. Then he submitted a bill without the 10% off because ''the coupon had expired''. What coupon? I never gave him a coupon for the original quote. I complained about the 3rd tree not really being visibly trimmed, and he contended that he could only trim it so much at one time and it was a good job. Overall, he quoted a price, increased it 3 times, and then didn't seem to complete the work on the 3rd tree, although to be fair, I'm not a tree expert, so I don't know if he was right about not being able to really trim the 3rd tree too much. We ended up splitting the difference on the coupon.
