His bid was higher than another of the three that I received so I chose to go with another company. He arrived at the agreed upon time for the estimate.

Very prompt! The owner, Chris Malm, scheduled the estimate right away, and quoted a very fair price ($550 for removal, $180 to the sub-contractor for stump grinding.) Work was scheduled for one week later. They arrived on time, did the removal job well, and so did the grinding subcontractor. I am very pleased overall. One reason why I considered this contractor, was because he is licensed, bonded, and insured. It would have made me very nervous to have an uninsured contractor 35 feet up a tree, with a chainsaw, on my property.
