They are very through and only recommend service that you need. They also do warn you on upcoming services that need to be done. They also bring you home and drop you off to get your car.

My check engine light had been coming on and over oer the past months.
Allied indicated that it was coming from my automatic transmission and\shold be addressed.
I finally decided to go ahead with the service along with my normal milage service.
They gave me a ride home after I dropped the car off and picked me up when it was
finished.
We have been using Allied for years and have never had a problem with their work.
I highly reccoment them.

Our year 2000 Saturn had starting problems when we were out on a Saturday, but we managed to get it home with AAA roadside assistance. We've been using Allied Auto Works for repairs on both our Saturn and Honda CRV for a couple of years and have been happy with their service. We made an appointment, and got the car there with a jump start. We had them check everything related to the battery and starter, but it turned out only to be a problem with the battery not holding a charge. They checked with us whether the battery was still under warrenty, but I did not have that information anymore. We had them replace the battery, and have not had problems since.

It has been a good experience with Allied Auto Works. The owner remained the same, but there is a new technician coming in to do the scheduling. I have spent a lot of time speaking with the owner. He is very good. They have high goals for the service they provide. They seem to deliver the high goals. They have well trained mechanics. Everyone is very friendly and seems to be quite competent in the work that they do. They roll pretty well. They respond to things that come up in the vehicle during the suervice, and let you know what they suggest you should do. They are pretty conscientious. You dont' get the feeling you are dealing with not so trustworthy repair guys. Given the quality of work that they do, the price is good.

THEY TOOK THE TIME TO EXPLAIN EVERYTHING THAT NEEDED TO BE DONE TO THE CAR FOR THE 30,000 MILE SERVICE. OVER THE PHONE I HAD EXPLAINED ABOUT THE BRAKE LIGHT COMING ON, AND THEY OFFERED A COUPLE EXPLANATIONS OF WHAT THAT MIGHT MEAN. IT TURNED OUT THAT MY BRAKES WERE AT MINIMUM THICKNESS SO THEY REPLACED THE FRONT BRAKES AND MACHINED THE ROTORS AS THEY WERE IN GOOD ENOUGH SHAPE TO DO SO (SAVING THE COST OF REPLACING THE ROTORS TOO). THEY POINTED OUT THAT I REALLY NEEDED 2 NEW TIRES (AND DESCRIBED PROS/CONS OF JUST GETTING 2, VERSUS 4).
