The Adams Real Estate Team specializes in the listing and selling of residential properties throughout the Silicon Valley and parts of Santa Cruz County. With over 200 properties sold totaling nearly $250 million since 2002, Michael and his business partner Tim Proschold ("The Adams Real Estate Team") have extensive experience in residential transactions. A few illustrative specifics on our experience:
Michael was very up-front with us about the fact that he had another client already who had some overlap with us in price and location. When a house came up that we both wanted to bid on we were prepared for being handed off into Tim's very capable hands. I appreciated how transparent Michael was about the situation.
My husband and I actually wrote off the house we ended up in. A very similar, slightly smaller house four blocks away had had twelve offers and gone well out of our price range the week before and we were certain this one would go even higher. Michael said he'd keep an eye on it just in case. For whatever reason (Memorial Day weekend showing? Everyone else was scared off by the comp? Real Estate Gods in a bad mood?) there was only one offer. Michael called us the afternoon offers were due with that amazing piece of news. We were interested? Yes! He proceeded to do all the last-minute legwork required to make an offer happen. (Actually I think Tim did a lot of the last-minute legwork. This is where being part of a team is invaluable.) We got the house for more than $200k less than the nearby "comp" and with a bid $7K less than the other offer.
In summary, we are very happy homeowners and very happy with our experience with the Adams Real Estate Team.

area. While we worked mainly with Tim Proschold, we found both the partners
very kind, knowledgeable and a calming force.
Our very first meeting with Tim impressed us when he came most
prepared and informed out of the 5 realtors we interviewed. He proved to be as
equally prepared for each meeting and negotiation from that day on. Our belief
in Tim was secured when our loan we had acquired through a broker before
meeting The Adams Real Estate Team fell through, and Tim?s multiple connections
in the mortgage business saved us. With the help of Tim?s continued negotiation
skills, we were able to extend the escrow time and get the home we really
wanted.
During the house hunting period, we appreciated Tim?s
engineering background to help us identify potential issues or restrictions in
future structural changes.
We were really apprehensive about the ?scary? home purchasing
process, but working with The Adams Real Estate Team made the whole event much
smoother and more comfortable than we could have imagined.
