NexGen Construction

I am not sure this company is in business any more. When we had panels installed in 2018, Eric and crew were fantastic and we enthusiastically recommended them to friends who also had panels installed. Our friends needed some work done last year and had a very poor experience. We now have a panel that is not functioning and repeated calls for service have gone unanswered. The only reason I am giving two stars instead of one is because of the great service we had back in 2018.

THE VERY BEST! We first used NexGen for our solar panel installation a little more than 4 years ago. We interviewed many companies and are so happy that we went with NexGen. Eric answered all our questions about solar and never pressured us. He gave us realistic figures for the yearly savings and pay-back timeframe. He walked us through the various rebates and tax credits. He and his team are all professionals and went well beyond what we were expecting. A couple of years later we called NexGen to install solar heating for our swimming pool and now this year we asked them to install a charger for our new electric car as well as three additional roof panels. These guys are amazing! Their work is first class and along the way they have also upgraded our service panel and pool pump. Eric and his team are always available to answer our questions and will even come by to see if we'd like our panels cleaned.

Today is just 1 week after the initial start of the job in spite of some rainy weather. Final inspection was Monday morning, the paperwork went to Edison on Tuesday, and by Wednesday--just 10 days after the start of the project--Edison gave us the permission to operate.  Eric or his employees told us daily what time the crew would show up, and they were promptly on the job when expected. Over the years we've had workers at the house who when speaking to one another would pepper their conversation with expletives. Not so with this NexGen crew. The young men on the crew were professional and personable. Kudos to Eric who sets the bar high for his employees.  We have the ability to monitor our solar system online, and it is producing just as Eric said it would.  I highly recommend NexGen Construction if you are considering solar panels for your house.  Customer service is top notch with this company.
