Deck and Porch Service
We had a $20,000 deck built in 2010. Fast forward 5 years and we noticed some drooping at one end and a couple years later some "soft spots". Had local handyman check out the problems. Guess what - had to pay $10,000 to have the whole base structure rebuilt and put reattach on the Azek planks that were already on there. We even reattached the deck boards ourselves. The entire structure had too small of lumber, recycled redwood (instead of pressure treated ) in spots, and lack of a needed concrete support wall at one end. Live and Learn.
