Work was done as promised and we were more than pleased with the result and price. He works steadily, taking time out only for lunch. He's fascinating to watch so we received a little entertainment for the money too.

The job was well done. Bryan gives you the quote and does the work personally so there's no miscommunication between the owner and the crew. He's very friendly and approachable, explains what he's going to do and why.

Overall outstanding experience. Starting with the consultation, the owner of the company Bryan was very responsive and flexible with scheduling and took the time to conduct a very comprehensive consultation. He was very knowledgeable and easy to communicate with regarding our questions and what he thought the problem areas were in the trees on our property. He suggested necessary work but didn't try to oversell anything. His estimate of the time required to complete the work was right on and there were no overages. He applied the cost of the initial consultation to the final bill. Showed up on time each day and removed all the debris. He definitely took the time to make sure he was doing the work we wanted done, the way we wanted it, and was very concerned that we be satisfied with his work. He even offered to deliver us wood chips for free at any time in the future if we wanted to spread them around the property. Would use this company again if I needed tree work.

What initially impressed me was that he spent time at the estimate what exactly needed to be done and WHY.  He then said he could do in Aug but suggested it be done after the leaves drop so he could see the limb structure better.  Made sense to me.  Did actual work in Jan. 2012.    All went fine.  Was impressed that he did not use climbing spikes but pulled himself up via a rope.  Did an artisans job of balancing and cleaning out the trees.  He was told to just drop the cuttings and I would clean up.  Would use him again.  Reason for late submittal of review - using list for another task and took the time to review this job.

Bryan always provides excellent service.  All pruning is completed with the focus of the best balance of the tree's structure whether large or small and Bryan attempts to ensure that the trees are given the best opportunity to thrive in their existing environment.  I've had the good fortune of enlisting Bryan's services over the last few years and would highly recommend him.

Bryan was very nice.  Trees look great.  Yard was cleaner after he left than when he arrived!  We will definitely recommend him, and call him back here again when needed.

I have been a returning client to Up A Tree for quite a few years. I have had my trees pruned regularly as well as a very large tree removed from my property. On each job, Up A Tree, has provided professional and courteous service. All work is completed as agreed and there is a focus on doing the job correctly and to the client's satisfaction. They were very good and reliable. They were very professional and their clean up was very good; it was spotless like they were never here. The owner, Brian, works with the crew. He is a certified arborist. He knows more about the local indigenous trees than anybody I have ever met.

When Brian came out for consultation, he carefully and thoroughly explained various options regarding our trees. He was very courteous, and patient, and answered all our questions. His estimate was surprisingly inexpensive. Today, he and his crew performed the work. They removed two medium sized trees (ten years old). They pruned branches from two other trees. They cut and removed a few problem surface roots. The work was performed very quickly, and the clean up was outstanding. Up a Tree Arborist offers professional, knowledgeable, and courteous service, at a very good price.

Working with Brian was a pleasure. His bid was well below our other bid. His work load was backed up and he couldn't do the work for some time, but He came the next day to cut the tree limbs off our deck so we could begin repairs. He arrive on the day promised and completed the work in a day.

I'm very pleased with the work performed by Up a Tree Aborist Services. The man arrived on time, he was pleasant to work with, he worked thoroughly and carefully, he gave me his expert advice on what to trim and what not to trim, and he cleaned up the stump grindings. I had him cut the tree limbs into 6-ft lengths and I disposed of them later, saving some costs.

I had worked with Brian before so when I saw the tree all of a sudden starting to lean onto the house and garage he came out that night to immediately take the tree out. Brian created a game plan and started working immediately to save the house and protect the yard. Because the tree was coming down on power lines to the house, guys from SMUD came out as well. The SMUD guys didn't do a thing but sit there in amazement watching Brian work. Next thing you know the tree was gone the house was saved and we had mulch for the whole garden. I use Brian exclusively for any arborist work and refer him to anyone I know, he is a man that truly has a passion for what he does.

Bryan was prompt in returning my call. Bryan drove 30 minutes to give me an estimate and he showed up on time. When he returned to do the work he completed everything I asked him to and also dropped two additional trees.

All the trees were pruned beautifully and will be healthier going forward. Bryan ensured all the tree limbs, etc. were removed and all debris was removed and the property left clean and orderly.
