Good price and good service

Zieba Builders nailed it, again (this is our third project with Joe Zieba). I live in a Craftsman style home built in 1909 and wanted a mission style kitchen, with all the modern appliances, that was in keeping with the original design of our home. The awkward floor plan made the design phase inordinately difficult for Kelly and Joe, but the finished product is both beautiful and functional. Joe designed one wall of cabinets with the middle set of cabinets popped out and mission style corbels at each end. To my eye it looks like an antique sideboard that blends perfectly with the Stickley furniture in the dining room. We live in a historical district, which can be challenging for a contractor. But Joe's knowledge of, and respect for, the design requirements insured both projects went smoothly. For me the most important aspect of each project was the quality of workmanship, and Zieba Builders is top notch. My husbands first priority was security. We were comfortable with all of the subs and Joshua promised to treat our home "as if it was my own", and he did. We both appreciated the fact they swept and vacuumed the job site every day before they left. I now have a gorgeous cooks kitchen. Many thanks to Joe, Kelly and Joshua.

We had a garage fire during the summer and wanted a company familiar with Long Beach to rebuild. I choose Zieba because of their close proximity to our home and the reviews I saw. They made this horrible incident much better by providing excellent customer service and having great craftsmen at their disposal.  If you are looking to rebuild or remodel, This company is an excellent choice. They were patient and listened to my requests and came up with a plan.  I now have a garage better than before. Joe and George made sure everything came out right. Listen we all can go with the cheapest company out there but the adage " you get what you pay for" rings true.  If you are looking to remodel and you want it done right the first time, hire these guys.  They will make sure it is done right and under code.

The experience was very positive. They excelled at the upfront planning and consulting phase of our remodeling project. We appreciated that they are a team so they offered us free design services as part of the package so we got design services and the general contractor all under one roof; that went really well. They also have very good communication between the general contractor and the sub-contractors; everybody seemed to do a high level of work and that we appreciated. They were on the expensive side but I knew that going in. I was willing to pay for the higher competency level and the higher level service. They showed up when they said they would and they were usually on time; especially their subs.

.Zieba Builders completed a major remodel for us back in 2008. I was so pleased with the quality of the work that I asked if they would consider a smaller project. I needed to install fencing, garage doors, exterior doors, and a garden gate for my arts and crafts style home located in a historic district in Long Beach. Joe and Karen agreed to take on the project and, as before, I was very pleased with the results. The project was completed on time and the quality of the workmanship was outstanding.

Exceeded expectations. An architect, my brother, reported exterior wood work was "furniture quality". Top quality work throughout. Joe is familiar with craftsman architecture - A plus dealing with historical committee. He suggested several changes that were great improvements. VERY professional staff: promptly returned all calls, team swept entire second floor prior to leaving at the end of each day, excellent craftsmanship, no hassles with city inspectors or historical committee (unlike some neighbors). Not the lowest bid, but worth the price.
